(USS Exeter – Sickbay – CSO Lieutenant Jg Erin Cortez– 1603)

Lying back in the bed, Erin sighed. Since waking up earlier in the day,
she’d been.doing nothing but resting and.it was beginning to grate on her.
Not the resting just not being in her own quarters. She also knew that it
was for her own good but, nevertheless, she wanted to be out and in her own
surroundings. If nothing else, she wanted to curl up on her sofa, put on a
movie and just lose herself in another world for a few hours.

Knowing it wasn't going to happen soon, a thought occurred to her. Sitting
up in the biobed, she reached for her combadge on the table next to her and
tapped it.

"Cortez to More."

"If you have a moment, would you come to sickbay? I would come to you but
they insist I stay here for a while yet."
