(USS Exeter – Sickbay – Ensign Janice Hammerfield– 1406)
"There seems to be some confusion, I am expecting Lt Hammerfield."

"No I’m the right me,” she patted her body.

"So you're in the incorrect uniform? Or is the ships roster wrong?"

"Its complicated,” she tilted her head to the side, “The roster is right – the uniform not so much. I’ve not really had the chance to sort things out yet.” It wasn’t a complete lie, more of an omission as she would rather not bring up the topic again if she could avoid it.

"Hmm" Gabe said pointing to the main bed at the top of the room "if you seat yourself I'll be over in a moment Ms Hammerfield"

“Sure thing,” she moved over to the room pointed out and removed her jacket. Folding it she sat it on a chair to the side and with a small jump hopped up onto the side of the bed waiting for the doctors return. Covering her mouth she let out a small yawn.

“Is it the full physical this time or just the interim check-up?” she asked, “I can never remember what one I’m on. And that’s not that I have trouble remembering things. Just uh... don’t really find these interesting. I mean... they are important...” Janice stopped and looked at Gabe, “Yea, ok. I’m going to shut up before I dig a hole through to the bottom of the ship.”
