Mission: Murder on the Exeter Express

Day: 3

Stardate: 2445.12.03

(USS Exeter – Holodeck 3 –Maxine– 0108)

As Ire closed the gap and stabbed the knife into Maxine's heart she smiled.
A single tear, caused by pain or sadness, flowed down her cheek. "Well done
Ire. Well...done..." At that moment she died. Yet as her heart stopped
beating her body began to tingle with energy. A device implanted around her
heart began to beep as she was instantly vaporized from the inside out,
leaving nothing but an outline of her remains.

At the moment she was vaporized, the rescue team appeared in the middle of
the holodeck. Soon a voice was heard throughout the room.

"My time is at an end. I underestimated you Exeter, and I paid the price.
All because I needed to make sure Tyko Nix died. And now here I am dead. I
was to be an empress, in the end, I was just a footnote in history. Sad.
End program."

The holodeck returned to normal, the stasis field dropped. The nightmare
was over.
