(USS Exeter - Holodeck 3 - Ensign Janice Hammerfield – 0058)

“Okay Maxine, you win. Kill them all for all I care, I’m fed up playing your game, so fry them all and hang me out to be framed for their deaths and the murder of Tyko Nix, I’m too tried to fight you anymore, to be honest your going to kill us all anyway so just get it over with”

Janice looked over at him still pinned in place and shook her head. She then looked at the bodies on the floor. She thought it imperative to keep buying time for anyone on the ship to try and stop Maxine, if they even knew about it at all. She did agree with Paul that there was no way out for any of them but there was a lingering question that had troubled her since she was brought into the holodeck. Was it just their lives in immediate danger or that of the entire ship? There was plenty of time and opportunity for Maxine to do a lot of damage and she knew that there were still a set of chemicals missing.

“NO! Don’t listen to him,” she shouted, “Let them go. I’ll stay here. Ill play your games – let end this properly no more truth choices. You – Me – Death,” she tried playing into Maxine’s apparent sadism. Maybe it would be enough but Janice knew full well she wasn’t hold any other cards in her hand to play.
