(USS Exeter – Counselling Offices – Transporter Chief Rayan Anra – 2342)

"Thanks,” she paused for a moment, 'You know the transporters?”

Anra smiled softly, "I would hope so. It is my job after all." He winked.

“Well, what do you think when you see the people there and then in the next
moment they are not?”

Taking a breath, he thought for a moment, "If you would have asked Kyren,
my first host, she would have said that it was magic. I've lived 6
lifetimes, seven if you count this one.

Thankfully, each host has furthered my understanding of the world and the
science behind it."
