“So, you knowthat Security guy the one who looks like a tree.”

 

Ewanlooked over at the duty nurse who was sitting with him at the nurse’s station.

 

“Yes, EnsignArbor.”

 

“How doyou know his name?”

 

“I askedhim when he came on board for his medical.”

 

“Ow okay,but did you know…..”

Theyboth looked at each other for a moment before Ewan answered.

 

“Thisis sickbay we are on our way.”

 

He raiseda quizzical eyebrow at the other nurse as all traces relaxation and humour wasreplaced by professionalism. He stood up and grabbed the medkit.

 

“Youbetter tell the duty doc.”

 

“Noproblem I will tell the doc that you have gone and get things ready here. If weare going to get many casualties give me a heads up and I will wake the on calls.”

 

“Noproblem.”

 

Ewanheaded out the door and along the corridor at a run.
