(USS Exeter – Gym, weight room – CO, Captain Trip Williams – 2118)



“Respectfully Sir” she said with a teasing smile that she hoped told him
that she was being flippant, “go easy there, we’re dead short of medics at
the moment, and I am not surgical qualified.”



Trip looked over at who was speaking to him. He ran his hands through his
hair. ~Dang, haven't broken a sweat yet.~


"That's what the EMH is for." He said with a smile.

He hadn't had much interaction with Lana, as an intern she was essentially
a cadet getting extended real world training. Every so often he'd check in
on, make sure she was doing her school work, but he passed off the interns
on Billy to be their de facto instructor.


"Besides, it's a lot of weight, but only about 70% of my one rep max. Sure
I could have warmed up with something lighter, but how else can I show our
fellow crewmembers from species with mega strength, that they aren't the
only strong ones." Trip said with a laugh.
