“Do you mind playing it again.”



He closed his eyes as he tried to tune out all the other sounds in the room
apart from the recording.



He shook his head and frowned.



“Ailynn what audio programs has this been filtered thought?”



Reaching to her right, she picked up two headsets, and passed one over.
Designed to cancel all the noise from the room, they could be tuned to each
wearers individual hearing range, and alter the sound accordingly. “I wish
I could say more about the imposter business. I’ll be completely honest
there’s a lot going on that is simply under the heading ‘classified’. Hell,
even I don’t know all of it, which is more than a little annoying I’ll
confess.”

“As the the sound clip, Trip has chosen a selection of random words, some
common to try to isolate cadence, speech patterns etc others less common,
to try to pin down on linguistic variance. As you know, how we all use and
say words varies, How I speak and say...Ashlyn uses words is very
different. She speaks with a far fluid rhythm and regularly uses words that
I have to look up what they mean.”
