Mission: Murder on the Exeter Express
Day: 2
Stardate: 2445.12.02
(USS Exeter - Vesper’s Personal Quarters - FO Cmdr Ailynn Bracken - 1506)
"Take a load off if you want, I'm getting there although I can't seem to
shift this chest, I really should call for a house visit but physician heal
thyself and all that."
Gabe shifted up and pulled his arms round his body again as he walked to
the replicator
"Want one? That's Scotch whisky, supposed to knock the hairs off your
chest. Since I'm not on duty!"
“You kidding? I’d love one, however I’m on duty, have been since 0200 and
will be long past your bedtime. Sorry hun, you’re lonesome drinking today.
Go easy though, just the one.” She cast a gently eye over her half-brother.
"More for me then, anything at all?"
“Just water will be fine thanks. Cold please.”
Gabe removed the container and handed it to Ailynn he remained standing
"So, cause of death? Time suspicions? I'm not saying he didn't deserve it
but, the man had a way of getting off on the wrong foot. How's Ronnie?"
Ailynn sipped at the water, “Last things first, Ronnie I haven’t seen much,
misses your sorry backside.” She winked gently.
(reply Gabe)
“There was an issue with time of death and him making a call to security.”
(Reply Gabe)
“He was dead when he made it. No question. Standard ships conditions, I can
pin time of death to within a minute.” She shrugged. “Haven’t figured out
the rest yet, and...I’m giving you this, but much more I can’t share.” She
grimaced apologetically.
