NRPG: time for a paranoid Janice


Mission: Murder on the Exeter Express

Day: 2

Stardate: 2445.12.02

(USS Exeter – Science Labs – Ensign Janice Hammerfield – 2232)

Ravok shook his head. " No Ensign, you have already been a great help to the investigation so far. Ensign T'kel has spoken highly of your involvement." Ravok leaned forward. " And that means something coming from such a...stoic man." Ravok said with a hushed tone.


Janice raised her eyebrow in an almost Vulcan fashion, “Well that is good to know,”


" Alright Ensign Hammerfield,  I won't keep you any longer. Just know that if you need anything my department is here for you. " He said to her.


"Of course sir that’s good to know,” she smile and nodded back politely, “have a good night,”


" Goodnight Ensign" Ravok concluded and walked out of the lab.



Waiting till the door closed Janice sat back into her seat a bit and mumbled, “That was... peculiar,”



After a moment of contemplation she waved into the other room, “Mister T’kel – can I borrow you a moment please?” Janice couldn’t help but feel something was out of place there. Maybe it was normal or it could be a mind case of her own sleep deprived paranoia. It didn’t help knowing that she willingly painted a giant target on her back tonight.



(reply T’kel)



She waved him closer into earshot so she could whisper, “Was that normal?”



(reply T’kel)



“Well I mean – did that look like normal behaviour for him?” she asked.



(reply T’kel)



“He said you spoke to him of my involvement in the investigation. You didn’t mention any of the details for it did you? That was to stay between us,” she paused, “Did you speak to him at all?”
