(USS Exeter – Science Labs – CTO/30 Lieutenant  Ravok – 2229)

“You’ll find that they are mostly to help with technical tasks,” she
continued, “A rotational lens system helps mode selection between standard
fire, flare, welding, cutting and heating. You’d be surprised how often
I’ve had to use them. Nothing that’s going to blow a hole in the side of
the ship if that’s what you’re worried about.”

Ravok laughed. " To be honest after the day I've had ,blowing a hole in the
side of the ship would just be the cherry on a cake. Although the captain
would probably go ballistic " he said letting his laughter die off. The
brief overview given was in line with the modification notes made by Ensign
T'kel.

 “Id be happy to let you take a shot or two with it when we have the murder
apprehended,” she added.

 " I know as head of security I shouldn't admit this , but I am a terrible
shot with a phaser. Even though I'm a romulan, I'm pretty decent with a
bat'leth . " He remarked.

" I learned from my step mother, shes klingon and a remarkable Engineer,
but she would consider the word remarkable as a drastic understatement of
her abilities." He said with a smile.
