(Earth, Home of Trip and Ashlyn Williams, aCTO Ensign sg Jori, 1955)

After a short chat in the kitchen with Ashlyn, Jori excused herself, not wanting to keep Ash from her preparations. Moving back to the dining room, she thought about sneaking off to explore the spacious estate, but without permission or a guide, doing so would be rude and inappropriate. Noticing a side door different from the one she had used to first come inside, Jori decided to see what was there.

Stepping outside into the cool, early evening air, she found herself on a dimly-lit patio. The sky was partly cloudy, but she could still see a few stars twinkling above.

About to move down the steps, Jori heard a sound. Looking to her side, she saw the Romulan, Tyrek, standing motionless, as though he was a statue. He was a new addition to the crew, so as acting chief of tactical, she needed to get to know him.

"Excuse me, sir. I'm Ensign Jori. Am I disturbing you?"
