EXETERRPG: (3 1203) Tactual Officer Ensign Arbor

Mission: A new day dawns

Stardate: 2446.01.30

 

(Boreal Forest - Tactual Officer - Ensign - Arbor - 1203)

Arbor walked throughthe forest. It was the largest forest on Earth and he enjoyed being out innature. He had taken the a few days off after the de-briefings to walk theforest and to lose himself with nature. Being on board a starship had its differencesthen planet work. It took some adjusting to in a starship that had hull keepingyou inside. Instead of being able to see from horizon to horizon. He did misshis time as a Ranger which was why he enjoyed spending his free time trekkingthrough the forest. It gave him time to reflect on where he was and where hewas going.  

He stiffened as he heardrustling off to his right, he slowly moved off the path and blended into theundergrowth. He carefully scanned the path and the undergrowth in front of him.There was movement further down the path and he froze. A hught bear camestrolling out on to the path. It stopped and sniffed the air. Arbor didn’t movea muscle as the bear came towards him. He paused Infront of him and sniffed theair before turning, carrying on back off the road and back into the undergrowth.

He stood there for along time after just listening to the sounds of the forest before he carefullystepped back onto the path and carried on.
