Ailynn stepped into the kitchen of the ranch, carefully lifting one of the
cases of wine that Dale, her gran had had sent over. Pulling out a few
bottles of the ‘35 Pinot Blanc, she placed them in the chiller that Ash had
shown her, then opened another case, and opened a couple of bottles of the
red, the ‘32 this time, allowing them to breathe.



“Thank you sweetie,” Ashlyn said as she strode into the kitchen, “mum
didn’t need to she is daft sometimes.”



“Hey Ash,” Ailynn turned to her “You look horribly gorgeous.” she leant
forward and kissed Ash on the cheek.

“ ‘Lynn, you look lovely too, that dress is beautiful.”



Ailynn blushed, and brushed an imaginary fleck of dust off the front of the
cashmere sweater dress that she’d picked to go with a pair of leggings and
knee length boots that were a comfy favourite. “Just something I had
kicking about in the wardrobe.” Ailynn shrugged as she poured herself a
small glass of the red wine. “You need anything else?” She asked Ash.


Shaking her head, Ashlyn waved her away. “I’m fine, just pootling about in
here. You go and say hello to people. Relax honey.”



Picking up her glass and taking a sip, she stepped out into the yard, to
greet whoever was already there.
