(Earth - Overlooking San Francisco Bay - ACFO, Lt. JG Olympia Noctis- 0708)

“I’m sure it would. I’m not allergic to anything, but I’ve known many
patients who are allergic. They report to me that it does, indeed, suck.”

"Totally." She said looking off into the distant.

“Are you really going to keep up this Basic White Girl stuff?” Heinrich
asked, starting to get annoyed.

"I don't know." She said standing up.

“I mean, no offense. But it’s centuries out of date.”

"True, but it somehow reminds me of the vocal patterns and manner of speech
of my own people. Reminds me a bit of home."

"They say my planet is gone, destroyed. Or at least not where it is
supposed to be. But you know, gone is gone. Either way I'm here."

"And I will never see another sunrise on my homeworld ever again, and you
know it totally blows. But somehow, just seeing the star you call the sun
hit the water, it....gives me some sense of hope. Anyways Doctor, you are
authorized to look at my files, but I need to go. If act quickly, I can hit
another sunrise somewhere in your pacific ocean, and I think I just might
do that." Nodding, Olympia began walking away from the overlook to chase
the next glimmer of hope.
