(USS Exeter - Sickbay - CMO Lieutenant JG Heinrich Kruze -1313)

Heinrich was studying some scans of Olympia Noctis’ nervous system as Dr. Methor strode into Sickbay. He was so deep in his work that he didn’t notice Dural approach, and jumped as he spoke.

"Doctor Kruze, if rumors are true, you have been promoted to CMO recently.”

“Yes, that’s true.” He admitted. “As of only two hours ago. News travels fast.”

"Ah, an old Cardassian proverb. Rumors always travel at warp speeds. Congratulations are in order it seems, now that I know the rumors are true." Dural said graciously. 

“Why thank you,” Heinrich blushed. “That is very kind.” He did not know how to take complements. He also felt pressed for time. “Did you just come to congratulate me or…?

"Ah, yes of course, you have much to do, I just have a question for you. I was wondering if you'd allow me to attempt a treatment for one of our patients?" Dural said going more straight to business than he usually did.

“I trust your judgment, Doctor.” He said. “Who would the patient be?”

"The patient is Lieutenant Gretta Smith." Dural said.

Heinrich’s brow furrowed. “What are you planning doctor?”

“Hmm…” He said thoughtfully. “Like I said before, I trust your judgment. But I would like to be kept in the loop.”
