Mission: A new day dawns

(USS Exeter - Corridor - Academy CO's Aide, Lt. JG Billy Alexander - 0900)

As Billy sighed, he exited his quarters on the Exeter for the last time. It
was bittersweet, but he needed to go. He was an administrator, working best
behind a desk. He gave the ship thing a try, but he realized that it wasn't
for him. Not to mention his dreams were still haunted by the incident with
the Empress. He didn't like having his mind invaded and free will usurped.
He needed a new start, a fresh gig, fresh air. He would be the Aide to
Admiral Duke Williams, the CO of Starfleet Academy and his uncle. Was it
nepotism, which found its root in the Italian word for nephew (nipote),
maybe, but it was more of a favor than a promotion.

Seeing a familiar face in the corridor he smiled. "Morning Janice." he said
walking towards the Turbolift with his last bag in tow. "Having a good day
so far?" he asked.
