Mission: A new day dawns

(Mars Facilities - 1st Fighter Wing of Mars Runway - CO, Captain Trip
Williams - 0700)

As Trip stood on the runaway watching the fighter take off and land as they
readied for the patrol shift change, he smiled. It always felt like coming
home. He, Ravok, Ire, the three amigos were instrumental to getting the
wing up and running. They served in their own little fiefdom as Flight
Squadron CO, Flight Squadron XO, and Flight Squadron 2O. They were the
guys, the best of the best, Maverick, Iceman, and Hollywood. The Top Guns.
Trip no longer had an office in that building, but he built it, and that
filled him with a sense of pride.

He was walking the grounds as a way to sort of focus on the positive and
try and exorcise the negative thoughts related to Ravok, related to the
brother that betrayed him. As he walked he saw a familiar face and
approached her.

"Trinity, you're up early." He said as he walked up to former Fighter Wing
Search and Rescue Squad leader Trinity Frost.

"Are you taking in the old sights? Hard to believe that we've been gone
from Mars for five months now, so much has happened."
