(USS Exeter - Sickbay - ACMO, Ensign Dural Methor DrPH -1312)

Dural had been ruminating on one of their patients. He couldn't imagine
what Lt. Smith had gone through, had she been raised with Cardassian ways,
she never would have. That's when the idea came to him, and was cursing
himself for not thinking of it sooner. There was protocol to think of, and
if the rumors were true, they had a newly minted permanent CMO, whom Dural
would have to clear the procedure with.

He strode into sickbay and was lucky enough to find whom he was searching
for. "Doctor Kruze, if rumors are true, you have been promoted to CMO
recently."

"Ah, an old Cardassian proverb. Rumors always travel at warp speeds.
Congratulations are in order it seems, now that I know the rumors are
true." Dural said graciously. He really was proud of the lad's
accomplishments.

"Ah, yes of course, you have much to do, I just have a question for you. I
was wondering if you'd allow me to attempt a treatment for one of our
patients?" Dural said going more straight to business than he usually did.

"The patient is Lieutenant Gretta Smith." Dural said.
