(USS Exeter - Ready Room - CO, Captain Trip Williams -1715)

" Four of us came to Starfleet and Six went to the Republic fleet.
Starfleet wanted to send two more additional engineers into the program to
get a better understanding of technology. The veil has been up long enough,
between our two governments. It's time we work together, no curtains. Full
cooperation is the goal in mind. Once the program shows the desired success
rates for both parties,  more officers will be entered with the hopes of
eventually merging the fleets into a singular force, but that's entering
the realm of politics Captain , with my father being a Senator , I look for
every chance to avoid such topics. Sir." Tyrek replied with a nod of his
head.

"Well I loathe politics, it almost killed the Federation once, so no worry
about that from me." Trip replied.


" Sir, before we conclude, I want to genuinely express my gratitude for
allowing me to serve you and your crew. I've heard good things and some
unfortunate things about the crew...However from what I've heard, I have no
doubt that you have one of the finest in the fleet. "

"Yeah, we're pretty good. Though its gonna feel like a new crew. Lots of
transfers coming off, lots of transfers coming on. But what we are Ty, is
we are forged by fire."

"No other ship in the Fleet has gone where we have gone, faced what we have
faced. It's a good crew, and I am blessed beyond reason to be their
captain."
