(Utopia Planica Orbital station – Docking port 34 – Nurse – CPO – Ewan McDonald-1134)


Ewan watched as the personal exited the access port. He looked up at the strange,shaped ship that was docked there. His sister had told him that she had beenhead hunted and placed in command of a civilian science vessel. It was an odd,shaped vessel a more vertical design then the normal horizontal of designs of thefederation and Starfleet. It did feel strange looking up and down a starshiprather than along its hull like he was used to but it was striking in its own uniquedesign.

 

“Do you like her?”

 

He turned to seehis sister standing beside him. She must have sneaked up on him while he was staringat her ship. He saw that she was still wearing her captain’s uniform and snappedoff a salute. She grinned as she returned it. 

 

“So…”

 

Ewan looked back atthe ship.

 

“Its definitely anew look at ship design.”

 

His sister nodded.

 

“That is true. The federationdesign bureau to a lot of different design language and ques from a wide rangeof opinions to come up with this class of starship.”

“But sis it must beliking standing on a cliff edge when you are on the bridge as the ship is allabove and below you.”

 

“Yes a fear ofhights it no a good thing on that bridge.”

 

 Ewan snorted.

 

“I can totallyunderstand that.”

 

He looked back ather.

 

“How long are youback in the system?”

 

“No long I ammainly passing through. We have a quick resupply turn around so I am not herefor long.”

 

“Long enough for anearly lunch?” 

 

He saw her look bacat her ship and nodded.

 

“I am sure that shecope with out me for a few hours.”

 

“Good coz I want tohear al about her.”

 

She nodded to him asthey headed towards the closest turbolift.
