"Well that is all we can hope for, keep moving forward."
“Yes Sir.” Erin replied. She smiled gently and nodded.
"As you know, I played baseball in high school. And after a tough loss,
coach always told us. Keep your heads up, don't lower them, don't give
people that satisfaction. Keep your head up, because even though we lost,
even though we fell short, you gave it everything you got. You left it all
out on the field. It's a matter of pride in oneself. Sometimes that's what
is needed. Keep your head up, don't give that son of a b...." Trip stopped
himself. "Don't give the circumstance the satisfaction of seeing you
defeated."
Smiling at the fact the Captain almost swore but stopped himself, Erin
nodded again. "If it is one thing that Mrs Williams and Genevieve… sorry
that was the alternative me, have taught me it is to never give up. Always
keep fighting."

"The whole thing with the Empress was difficult to say the least. Almost
losing a number of crew, losing some, having to deal with what I saw when
we got into that bar and not knowing if the technology I created would stop
her.. "
(Reply Trip)
"I'll be okay. I know now when to hold my hands up and say I need help.
Right now, I can deal with things. Your wife has been a great help with
that, Sir, so please pass on my thanks to her."
