"Can you pass me that coupler, if I canremove the stembolt and shunt the power through the auxiliary relay Im prettysure I can shut off the infuser matrix and render it almost useless for thetime being."

 

“Okay.”

 

He looked at the complicated engineeringequipment that Brown had brought. He was by no means a novice to working ofmachines as any pilot without knowledge of how to fix their craft was unless.So, he took his best guess and passed her what he thought she needed.

 

“The coupler is that one, could you pass meit please?" 

 

He followed where Janey was pointing, pickedit up the implement that she wanted and passed it to her.

 

“Sorry”

 

"Remind me to tell you the time I oncehad a ferengi try to sell me a case load of self seeling stembolts, they wereutter rubbish, kept going on about some great material continuum." 

 

"Never could trust a Ferengi" 

 

Ire shrugged.

 

“I guess you had bad experiences with Ferengibut not all of them are out for self-serving measures. Some of them can bequite charitable at times.”

 

(Reply Brown)

 

“Have you had the opportunity to meet Quarkon Deep Space Nine. He comes across very ferengi but there is a soft spot deepin his pressed latanum heart.”

“How are we doing?”

“Good let’s get out of here.”

 

He tapped his comm badge.

 

“Ire to Alexander.”

“We have found the Genesis device and will bebringing it with us as well.”

“Would you mind telling the Exeter that weneed an engineering and security detail upon our arrival.”

 

(Reply Alexander)

 

He looked over at Brown.

 

“Ready.”

 

(Reply Brown)

 

“Okay Billy we are ready to come back over.”

Ire stepped off the transporter pad andlooked over at Alexander.

 

“Is our guest behaving himself?”

 

(Reply Alexander)

 

“Good.”



He looked over at Brown.

 

“Chief if you could stow the device we canget going.”

 

(Reply Brown)

 

He moved over to the helm console and set thecoordinates to rendezvous with the Exeter. He rested his finger over theimpulse engine controls before he looked at the others.

 

“Okay let’s go home.”
