NRPG: I’m picking on Ravok because Rob gave me permission. Jost has a lot of power, but what I’m throwing at you shouldn’t kill the away team, injure them maybe but nothing beyond the bounds of Starfleet medicine. What I have him doing is consistent with established canon of what a character with a Pah Wraith can do. There’s an end game and it’s in motion. Resistance will be met with force. He won’t pursue anyone running away, and won’t attack anyone neutralized, unconscious or otherwise a non-combatant.

(Gamma Quadrant Planet - Temple interior – Entity Host – Trentin Jost – 1157)

" You must be the man of the hour. " A tall dark haired Vulcanoid said, exuding so much confidence to boarder on arrogance.

“Pointed ears with all the arrogance and none of the logic, you must be Romulan.” Jost retorted in response.

" I'm Lieutenant Ravok, to my left is Ensign More , to his left is Doctor Vespers and the charming woman to my right is Lieutenant Foxglove. We came here prepared to fight but seeing as you decided on a romantic candle lit dinner vibe , which by the way is a rather nice sentiment. I would like to offer you a final chance to give us our first officer and surrender and I promise that we will take care of you. " Ravok said.

“All with nice, shiny, tidy uniforms,” Jost said in a mocking tone, “I’m so scared.”

" Look, I'm not judging. Your pissed that Cardassians joined the federation,  I get it and I would be too if I was a Bajoran. But is answering that with killing more Bajorans the right way to go about it ? " he asked, holding up his hand " Wait wait, that's a rhetorical question. All I'm trying to say is with the amount of harm you caused your people. I'm pretty sure some dead Cardassians are rolling in their grave with envy of the excellent job your doing.  You should give yourself a pat on the back for being worse than those you hate so much"

:: He’s never going to understand, they never will. Just kill them and be done with it.::

~ Why don’t we play a game first? See how long they can last?~

“Those that cannot or are unwilling to move toward to the future don’t deserve it,” Jost explained. “I’m offering them my hand, if they but join me, but I can’t let them stand in my way. The Cardassians sought to enslave to take what wasn’t there’s. I’m reclaiming Bajoran birthright. Rakanthan wheat, the grain must be separated from the chaff to get what is useful and viable. I am merely separating those who are ready for what is to come and those better left behind.”

" Our captain is showing you great mercy Jost, if he wanted to he could open fire on this planet and end us all. But he is giving you a chance. There is absolutely no scenario in which you come out on top. We die , you die. You die we go home without being able to bring a murderous cult leader psychopath to justice... So how about you come down here and let us all put an end to this ?" Ravok said with a tone of sarcasm and arrogance.

“No, I don’t think I will, because you won’t fire on this place for fear of hitting your Lieutenant that I have in custody.” Jost said with determination. He looked each of the gathered four over, one by one. The Wraith had grown to full power affording him more and more new abilities. The newest an awareness of the truth of things. “You.” He said pointing at the Doctor. “You are of Bajor. There is room for one of your talents in what is to come.”

(Reply Dr. Vesper)

“Pity,” Jost said with regret. “That’s what the last doctor said, the one that was captured with my prisoner, and now he is no more.”

(Reply any)

“You. You look so young, but I sense great turmoil in you. Your body does not betray the many terrible things your eyes have seen and your hands have done.” Jost proclaimed.

(Reply Foxglove)

“You. You hide your wounds from the others fearing that you will be seen as weak when you want to be strong. Continuing on when you could easily quit is a sign of strength. I fear you will not be strong enough.”

(Reply More)

“And finally you.” He said pointing at Ravok. “You, young pup are in way over your head, but attempt to hide it with bravado. You speak as if you are assured victory but using an Earth term, I hold all the cards.”

(Reply Ravok)

“But enough talk. Have at you!” Jost announced, he stomped his foot down hard sending out a shockwave and an earthquake shaking the temple.

(Reply all)

Jost started with a back hand swipe sending one flying backwards off her feet with an unseen force.

(Reply Foxglove)

With his other hand he sent a gout of near plasma hot flame at another.

(Reply More)

A phaser shot set to stun he ignored completely, and he picked the remaining two up hovering them in the air. Squeezing with both his hands, an invisible force gradually increasing on both of them, making it difficult to breath.

(Reply Vesper, Ravok)

“So Lieutenant, what do you think now?” Jost asked.

(Reply Ravok)

“Impetuous!” Jost screamed and threw the doctor through an open archway forty feet distant. He waived that hand and increased the archway to 2000 degrees Kelvin making it impassible, as the stone begins to melt.

(Reply Vesper)

With his second hand free he brought both to bare on Ravok’s suspended form squeezing at twice the pressure for a moment. Then dropped him.

(Reply Ravok)

“It’s a pity you Starfleet types are defeated so easily, or I might have a sense of satisfaction now.” Jost said.

NRPG: Now might be a good time for the FO to show up.

“The only way to defeat fear is to tell it 'No'." No - we will not take shortcuts on the path to righteousness. No - we will not break the rules that protect us from our basest instincts. No - we will not allow desperation to destroy moral authority.” - Michael Burnham, Star Trek: Discovery

“No, I’m from Iowa, I only work in outer space.” – Adm. James T. Kirk, “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home”
