(Gamma Quadrant Planet – Power Supply Structure Exterior –Engineer -Ensign -  Galu Vosi – 1148)

 

Galu had seen his friendand Lieutenant Cortez enter the power supply building what seemed like hour.Since then they had been under constant fire. As Merek had pushed forward hehad tried to flank and provide a cross fire but had been stuck just under thelip of the ridge. He had not been able to get a good shot at the enemy who hadmaneuvered themselves above him and he was in good enough cover so that theycould not hit him. He had thrown a couple of his charges but without knowingwhere the enemy were moving to he just blew debree into theair.   

~Come on Galu think. Youmay not be a good shot, but you have other talents~

He ducked as a phaser shotsizzled past his head.

~I need to level thetables~

He grinned as he firedthree phaser bursts into the rock face in front of him. He then placed threedirectional charges and slithered back behind a large bolder.

“Lieutenant. I am punchingthrough fire in the hold.”

He hit the detonator andthe charges exploded. He was up and running through the dust and fallingdebree. Up through the small gully that his charges had made and burst out ontop of the ridge. He scanned the ground for the enemy and found two of themgetting back up after being knocked off their feet from the explosions. He sawthem reaching for their weapons as he fired two shots in quick successiondropping them instantly. He then turned and ducked under cover as he began tolaydown suppressing fire on the other enemy soldiers.
