(Gamma Quadrant Planet- Temple grounds - CMO – ENS Gabe Vesper - 1141 )

Concious of Stan behind him Gabe had quickly climbed, his kit making it 
difficult to move as quickly as he wanted. They arrived at the temple 
grounds and the team joined.

" Vespers scan the area, I find it odd no one is out front keeping 
guard. " Ravok said.

pulling out his tricorde Gabe ran it round the area, hoping the detail 
was right he looked up. “No one near here, inside yes, it’s a little 
unnerving but we must have cleared the area.” This time he pulled his 
side arm out and kept the tricorder available.


" So I guess we should just walk up and knock on the door." He said with 
a touch of humor.

Gabe stopped and looked, normally he would throw off some smart comment 
but as he was trying to be nice and moreover had a liking to the team 
joined in

“If only there was a petdoor, we could just let ourselves in uninvited?” 
Gabe continued to scan, his back slightly hurting now carrying both the 
rifle and the medkit on it, the dried blood was starting to smell.

" That device from the intel reports should be outback. If we sneak 
around we could take it before it powered on. But we have to be careful 
to not alert anyone, Bracken is still in there. Her signal is still 
going strong."

Arriving as the team arrived Gabe felt things tense, his gungho attitude 
dropped as the silence engulfed them and the low hum filled the air. 
Reading his tricorder he stopped

“I’ve got contacts in that room ahead, Ailynn is there too.” He dropped 
to his knees and quickly checked his med kit and rifle. “Im ready” he 
said solemnly
