EXETERRPG: (16, 0845) CO, Lt. Commander Trip Williams

NPRG: Skipping ahead a bit because my mind just doesn't want to think need
to move us on. Not my best work. But I can't neglect my beautiful crew

RPG:

Mission: The Flames of Purity
Day: 16
Stardate: 2445.09.16

(USS Exeter - Bridge - CO, Lt. Commander Trip Williams - 0845)

With the Interceptor destroyed, Exeter's path to rescue Bracken and Ryelle
was now clear. It was just a matter of getting there and figuring out what
to do next. Still Trip was saddened by all the lives that could have been
spares had the cultists not been so....extreme. But with a possible genesis
device out there, it was imperative they be stopped.

"Ensign Frost, maintain course to the Lt. Bracken's location, back to warp,
same speed and course setting as before."

(reply Frost)

Trip then stood up and faced Ravok, "Lieutenant, I want you to but together
a strike team to go down and aid in the rescue. Take Ensigns More and
Sleeford with you, as well as Dr. Vesper if he's feeling up to it."

(reply Ravok)

"And..." Trip said with a sigh, "Take Lieutenant Foxglove with you, but
make it very clear, you're in command of the away team." Trip knew that
Jaelle had the experience, but Ravok had his trust, and his trust towards
Foxglove right now was in short supply. "Stun setting if you can. There has
been enough life lost today. But if you need to, you have authorization to
use higher settings."

(reply Ravok)

Trip then looked at Lieutenant Merek, "We'll probably need some tech
support on the ground, especially with whatever they're plotting. Merek put
together a team with Cortez, Vosi, Zot, and whoever else you think you
might need."

(reply Merek)

"Get your teams assembled as soon as you can."

(reply Merek, Ravok)

Trip then tapped his commbadge. "Captain to Lt. Williams, Ire, I want you
to prep a runnabout, the Broken Bow. Just in case whatever energy build
up prevents transport. Go ahead and have one of the Type 20's prepped to,
the Leonardo. In case we need to hit two locations."

(reply Ire)

"Welcome back by the way. Williams out."

(Reply Ire)

Trip then tapped his commbadge again. "Captain Williams to Mrs. Williams."

(Reply Ash)

"Please report to the bridge. I want to make sure you are ok with my own
eyes."
