(USS Exeter, Bridge – 2O/CEO – Lieutenant Keira Merek – 0810)

"Lieutenant, get as many as you can now!" the Captain ordered.

“Energizing.” Keira answered, entering commands into the transporter system for site to site transport. She didn’t have the cargo transporters to work with, but she had the standard and emergency transporters to use. She wasn’t able to get a lock on even one whole group. She transported what she was able to lock on to.

"How many did we get?" Trip asked after the explosion had died out.

“Fifteen.” Keira answered with regret. She ruminated on that thought for a moment before being addressed again.

~Had I thought of it sooner.~

"Perfect,” Trip replied. "Merek well done on getting our people home."

“Thank you.” Keira said not exactly joyously. She turned her attention to damage control procedures.
