(USS Exeter – Nine and Dine- Ensign Janice Hammerfield - 0926)

“Not a problem. It would be good to catch it now before it spreads across the whole ship.”

He paused as the tricorder beeped at him.

“Sir. Does security know how long it’s been here?”

"No idea – though we reckon it might have been stashed here after the murder,” she replied, “Put in quickly so damage to the replicatior drew our attention.”

“Okay. From what I can tell. There is a contagion here. It’s not life threatening but it will make people sick due to exposure.”

She scooted back a bit more from it, “Thats not good...”

“Sir do we know who has used it?”

"Well there was myself – Lt Brightwood – T’kel from security,” she moved over and punched up the devices usage logs. “Ensign Rowen was the last person to use it today when the issue was reported. There are four more since the start of the day let me send you the logs over.” She tapped a few buttons on the panel to the side. “Here you go.”

Janice’s mind raced a moment with a flurry of questions she tried to limit down to the important ones, “How contagious are we talking? Do you need a list for the room?”

“Am I going to need a shot or something for this?” She enquired taking a glance at the medical tricorder – all be it her understanding of it very limited.
