It pained Stan to see the look of disappointment on his friends face. But Stan had his reasons, he just hoped. He could explain it to Ravok. Then his logic of putting himself up for arrest. Would be explained.

“ It’s quite logical if you look at it. This recent piece of evidence is going to make me look. More then ever like Nix’s killer. Which I can assure you I am not. Ensign Hyru may be a loud mouthed idiot with no respect. But he won’t be the only person in security. Who thinks the same way. There is of course others who believe I am innocent. This will cause friction through out security. Causing a distraction you can do without. At a time when we need to be on our toes.” Stan took a breath.

“ The real killer is still out there. We don’t even know if they plan to stop at Nix. You need them concentrating on their jobs. Not on whether I am innocent or not.” Stan said
