(USS Exeter –Corridor–CFO – Lieutenant – Ire Williams - 0620)

 

Ire walked back slowly away from security. He wouldmessage Greta when he got back to their quarters as he guessed that she mighthave gone for her shift. He could not believe that it had happened. Nix beenmurdered on board the Exeter. These things should not happen. Now with thelevel of security and monitoring that the security department has access to. 

He did feel ashamed about how he had felt about Nixsince their imprisonment on the bird of prey. He had come away from that experiencefeeling unsure about him. He was the intelligence officer, the spy, the agent beingable to deal with those situations which was not how Ire had felt he had been, thenthere was the conversation in the shuttle bay. Ire had been eager to get backto the flying that he had not risen to his bates but there must have been anreason why he had done that in front of all those people.

~I guess I will never know~

He headed for the turbolift knowing that he hadwork to do ad he was already late.
