"Ms. Darson according to the security report you happened upon the altercation near its conclusion, what did you see and how did you become involved?" Cindy preparing for the proverbial hammer to fall square upon her head. "Ensign Foran and I were in a clothing establishment located on the Promenade, near the lounge," she began, indicating her friend sitting on her left. "We heard the sound of a conflict and left to investigate. The fight was well underway by the time we arrived at the entrance to the lounge. I observed one of the Klingons approaching Lt. Garrett with a weapon, and I ran inside to help him. I picked up a metal object. I think it was the stem of an ashtray or maybe a drink stand. The Klingon attacking Lt. Garrett did not observe my approach. I struck him twice and he fell unconcious. Then, as the lieutenant stated, he ordered Mr. Harper's beam-out and that was followed by Lt. Dema defusing the brawl with his phaser." Cindy sat down as she concluded and waited. Next the Vulcan CO turned his analytical gaze upon Noonan. "Ensign Foran security claims you were uninvolved in the fighting but were a witness therefore you were called to this debriefing, do you have anything to add?" As Noonan slipped out of her chair, the Betazoid woman could feel her friend's tension slowly calm, probably because Saleke didn't seem to find fault with her. Noonan stood to give her report. "I concur with the accounts you heard in this room, sir, from the time Ensign Darson and I arrived on the scene. I will add enough only to say that I mainly felt what I will describe as 'an overall attitude of bawdy fun' from the Klingons. Some of them were becoming genuinely angry, including the one attacking Lt. Garrett, but most of them seemed more intent on -- well -- enjoying a good fight with frail humans." She added the last with an ironic emphasis. Mirth tittered all around. "No aspersions intended to anyone in this room, but that was my perception of their thoughts. The Starfleet personnel were more tense and unsure but mainly focused on defending themselves and fellow officers." "Very well," he said in finality and tapped the button that ended the recording. "This debriefing is concluded and will be forwarded to command for review, everthing appears to be in order and agrees with the report from station security, Lieutenant Dema and Lieutenant Garrett please remain seated and Mr. Harper I would like for you to remain on the bridge in case I call you, the rest of you are dismissed." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge -ACEO Ensign (sg) Norman Harper - 1148) "Sit down Ensign." The Vulcan said evenly. Norm finally allowed himself breath and took the first seat he could find and sat stiffly. "Lieutenant Commander Garrett has been promoted and is taking the position of First Officer, Mr. Harper, which is why you have been called into the lounge." Saleke explained opening his hand to reveal a small black box and then placed it on the table where Norm looked at it with a confused _expression. Here he had thought he was going to be punished for his part in the brawl, and he was being... promoted? "What is it, sir?" He is all he could muster to say. "This contains a black pip to be added to your collar Lieutenant Harper." Norm ignored the lifting of the vulcan's eyebrow. "You are being promoted to Lieutenant junior grade and made chief over the engineering department, do you have any questions Mr. Harper?" Questions!? Norm had a million of them, but he didn't feel he had the time to ask any of them. ~They would probably be better aimed at Mason,~ he thought. "Thank you for this privalege!" Norm said instead, forgetting to tag the word 'sir' onto the end of his sentence. " "Your first task will be to meet with Commander Garrett, he will apprise you of the situation and work with you in the coming weeks. Congratulations Lieutenant Harper." "Thank you, sir," Norm stood, "I will see to it immedeately!" Norm waited until he turned from the vulcan, and he was sure he wouldn't be seen, to allow a wide smile to pull across his lips. He must have done something right. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - First Officer's office - Lt. Commander Mson Garrett - 1330) At first, it felt odd sitting down behind the assymetric curve of the First Officer's desk. The setting was completely familiar to Lt. Commander Garrett since he'd had many conferences with then-Commander now-Captain Saleke in that very room. Now Mason had the sense of looking from the inside outward. But there was little time for contemplating the "newness" of his position, and he set right to work pulling up the most recent departmental reports. The reports from Main Engineering he knew, of course, because he'd written them only a few hours before. After mentally logging the information, he turned his attention to the task of transferring personell from the Mystique to the Hades. He would have to coordinate with the other department heads to plan out an orderly process and would go see the others after his meeting with Harper. He felt a twinge of regret at leaving the Myste. After serving first in Ops then in Engineering, as ACEO then CEO, he'd made it his business to learn every nook and cranny aboard the Myste. Now the entire crew would be starting afresh, learning a new ship -- a WARSHIP, no less. He was perusing the personell data for Sickbay when a buzz came at the door. "Come," he called out. He looked over at a small panel set in his desk and quickly found the button that opened the door. Lt. Harper entered. "Norm, come in," Mason said. "Would you like to replicate something to drink." (Reply: Norm) Mason called up a favored coffee blend for himself and both men sat down. "First let me say congratulations on being selected for the CEO position. I know you'll do an outstanding job." (REply: NOrm) The two young men shook hands as they exchanged congratulations, then Mason sat back ready to get down to business. "I assume the captain told you that we are to schedule a transfer for Engineering personell over to our new ship, the Hades." (REply: Norm) "He'll probably elaborate more about the transfer during the staff meeting at 1500, but Engineering is a priority right now." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - First Officer's office - CEO Lt. Norman Harper- 1331) Norm stalked to the first officer's office, half expecting to still find Saleke behind the desk thus discovering that he had dreamed the entire promotion. He sounded the door chime and was relieved to hear Mason's voice answering with a short familiar, "Come." Norm waited for the door to slide open and then stepped into the office. "Norm, come in," Mason said. "Would you like to replicate something to drink?" Mason asked. Norm smiled and made a slight nod, then walked over to the replicator, helped himself to a cold glass of orange juice and then sat across from his former department head while he sipped at his coffee. "First let me say congratulations on being selected for the CEO position. I know you'll do an outstanding job." "Likewise," Norm took a mouthful of juice, "but you're more like the head of the department heads, now." He chuckled at himself then reached out and shook Mason's extended hand. "I assume the captain told you that we are to schedule a transfer for Engineering personell over to our new ship, the Hades." Norm nodded. He still felt odd about transferring ships. After all, he had only been aboard the Mystique for a few months and he was already getting thrown onto a warship? "Yes, sir." He said picking up on the more serious tone. "He'll probably elaborate more about the transfer during the staff meeting at 1500, but Engineering is a priority right now." "Understood sir. I would like to go to the Hades first just to get a feel of the engines," He looked at his half-empty glass with disdain, then finished it's contents, "I will then come back to the Mystique and send Noonan along with the first real transfer," cradled the glass in his hands and placed it on his knee, "That way I know I have an experienced officer on board the Hades to be sure everything is running smoothly there. I will transfer last." He looked up to his friend for any input. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - First Officer's office - Lt. "Noonan's a good choice," he agreed. "You'll be in charge of a skeleton crew in Engineering to maintain minimal power requirements until all ship's personell are transferred." Then he added glibly. "Just don't forget to turn the lights off when you leave." (Reply NOrm) "Command expects the transfer to be completed in two weeks, assuming that Hades is up and running on schedule. Norm chuckled and moved his glass away from his knee where the glass had formed a ring of condensation and was now soaking through his uniform. "No, sir." He said in a mock serious voice all though he understood perfectly what Mason was saying. "Command expects the transfer to be completed in two weeks, assuming that Hades is up and running on schedule. We'll begin transferring other departments over as soon as Geneva says the ship's power output is ready for her new crew. I'm beaming over in the morning to have a look around." "Sounds like a plan." Norm thought for a moment, "We're going to have to expand our engineering crew. I'm not sure we can all get everything done that might need to be done in the future... Especially to a warship. We're all going to be working double shifts to get the Hades ready to take off on schedule." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - First Officer's office - Lt. "Just don't forget to turn the lights off when you leave." "No, sir," Norm replied with mock seriousness. "Command expects the transfer to be completed in two weeks," Maosn continued, "assuming that Hades is up and running on schedule. Then after you assess your departmental needs, let me know and I'll send requests through the Captain. I'm sure Geneva will provide whatever manpower or equipment we might require." (REply: NOrm) Mason rose from his chair as the meeting drew to a close. "We'll have to get all the department heads together once things settle down and drink a toast for the Hades maiden voyage. I wonder if it has a Ten-Forward." He hadn't thought to check that little detail on the ship's specifications. (Reply: NOrm) Mason dismissed the lieutenant then, after Norm had gone, recalled the listings for Sickbay personell on his display. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - First Officer's office - CEO Lt. I'm sure Geneva will provide whatever manpower or equipment we might require." Norm nodded and picked up his glass between his index finger and thumb and readied himself to toss it back into the replicator. "Surely," he agreed. "I guess I've got a lot of work ahead of me, and no assistant head to help," he added as a small jest. He stood slowly and made a small salute to the new FO. Mason rose from his chair as the meeting drew to a close. "We'll have to get all the department heads together once things settle down and drink a toast for the Hades maiden voyage. I wonder if it has a Ten-Forward." He hadn't thought to check that little detail on the ship's specifications. "What kind of ship would it be without a Ten-Forward!?" Harper asked, slightly surprised, "How do they expect me to celebrate me Irish heritage without one?" He asked putting on his best faux-Irish accent. He smiled, returned his glass to the replicator and turned toward the door. "See y'around, Mason." He said before stepping out into the hall to descover the wonders of his new office. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - Personal Quarters - Elizabeth and Gabriella Wilson-Kirien - 1425) ::I am so bored.:: Beth whined, fliging the puzzle game that she was working on into the corner where it connected quite satisfactorily with teh bulkhead. Ella looked at her twin with a sigh and put down the doll she had been working on arranging it's hair. ::It's not ~my~ fault that you got us stuck here in Quarters by your antics with that flight deck. What possessed you to go galavanting out in a real shuttle is beyong my comprehension.:: Ella always was the practicle one. :: Because you wouldn't help me crack the lockdown on the holodeck.:: Beth about snarled, kicking a pillow. ::You ~could~ do your homework. Then maybe you could crack the holodeck controls yourself. Not that it matters if I help you or not.:: Ella replied grumpily, " No matter which of us does something Mum punishes both of us. It's ~not~ fair that I'm stuck here with you instead of playing in the science labs." A silvery chuckle filled both of their minds, and a tiny elvenish being appeared before them. "I'm Pattia and I'm lonely and you two are too, so can we be friends and play some?" The twins looked to each other in wonderment then nodded in unison, the petty bickering forgotten. Pattia pulled out a puzzle, one of the old earth kind that had little pieces and began to lay it out. "I've always wanted to do one of these. I saw them in the ships computer." She confided. Beth and Ella moved closer to their new friend. "What..are you?" Ella asked touching the elfling's long pink hair which elicited another tinkly giggle from Pattia. "I'm Pattia! I'm the ship. Well sort of. It's complicated but lets just say the ship is my body." Beth shook her head confused, "So your like a hologram or something?" Pattia giggled again. "Or something. Help me do this please?" And so the three bent to the task of putting together the puzzle, their cabin fever soon forgotten. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - CO, Captain Saleke - 1510) “I have a lot to go over Captain. Before I start with my notes on the planetary information, let me make a recommendation. Due to the attack on myself, Ensign Ashlitu Physioc, and Geneva Security officer Lt. Lily Lee on the station Promenade earlier today, if the upcoming wedding and any other gatherings are held, they should be well screened as far as guests and large amounts of security personnel should be appropriately armed and ready for crowd control,” said Naraht. “In inquiring after the Lieutenant’s condition, I was speaking to the male human doctor in the station’s sickbay from our bridge directly before this meeting who indicated that the Humans for Humanity had been causing trouble on the station. I found it strange and unusual that he had received other inquiries about how the attack happened and specifically pertaining to how the Lieutenant was hurt. I question who else could potentially be interested but possibly those who may have been causing the trouble that would be connected with the Humans for Humanity group. Before the attack, the Lieutenant informed both Ensign Physioc and I that someone had caused an engineered virus to be let loose on the station to make humans sicken and die and then spread rumors that aliens were responsible. There apparently were other attacks on non-humans as well. Lt. Lily Lee and Ensign Physioc were hurt defending me from a violent mob. I have recommended both be checked for any damage to their hearing organs due to my piercingly loud sonic defense I used to help repel the crowd, once they are conscious.” All of that had been reported to Saleke earlier of course, he waited for the Horta to continue. “You will find my requests for help within the Mystique’s and Geneva ’s communication records. I sent rapid electronic bursts, explaining the situation and requesting help. But I received acknowledgment the second time only from Station Security.” "Lieutenant Fredericks is now the chief of security Ensign," He noted evenly. "Forward all pertinent information to him for consideration." “Order noted, sir. I will comply,” said Naraht. Naraht paused for a moment, using his main phalange to aqccess his PADD. “I think I have finally found a way to explain in Galactic Standard the sensation I felt while on the newly discovered planet in the Beta quadrant. Have any of you ever played with strong bar magnets either as a child or during your science classes? One can easily use one magnet to push the other around on a smooth flat surface such as a floor or table by facing like polar ends toward each other.” “Most planets’ natural magnetic fields act as an overall bubble. Once down below the bubble on the surface of the planet such as Earth, I cannot normally directly see or detect a planetary magnetic field easily without a tricorder or other equipment.” “The sensation that I felt when on the planet in question can be described much the same as bar magnets repelling and attracting each other. We Horta can detect and ‘see’ magnetic fields due to the specialized organs we have, as well as electrical and bio-chemical energy. As you may know magnetic energy and electrical energy are closely related. The sensation I felt was overall weaker that what one feels when using strong bar magnets to repel and attract each other, but on the planet I felt it all over me, indicating to me that the magnetic field is more widespread. I also could detect it as a very light haze.” “To try to explain this odd magnetic field change which has apparently happened within recent time as per cosmic the cosmic timeline, I would like to look for iron ore and other magnetic substances in the following areas to help rule out any natural causes; the system’s Oort cloud or field, the location of iron ore and any other magnetic ores both on the planet and within the system overall, the asteroid field and any asteroids outside of the normal fields, the planets’ two natural satellites, any rogue planets or planetoids, comets or any other passing bodies, any other planets and their satellites within the system with regards to rotational sequence as per metallic content and their magnetic fields. I would like to check for any other foreign planetary bodies within the last three years.” Naraht added, “Solar activity such as solar flares and sunspots that could also oddly affect planetary magnetic fields should be considered and evaluated.” He continued, “Once we rule out any natural causes or if in looking into these possible natural causes we find other evidence, we can begin working on the assumption that a sentient being or beings has or is causing these anomalies. Therefore I would like to additionally look for the following: equipment or technology especially machinery, structures, possibly underground or in a mountain range, hidden in a cave or gorge, possibly hidden in deep ocean trenches.” “Depending upon the technology utilized it may be very small or have more than one location or station or be one large structure. It is also possible that a ‘station’ or said technology of some kind could be on one or both of the moons. This technology is likely to have its own magnetic field. It is possible that the more advanced the technology the more likely to have ease of control via one structure.” Naraht paused again, checking his notes on his PADD and then continued. “We would also need to look for any life signs of sentient creatures. There could be some type of superpower creature such as one of the Q Continuum at work somewhere in the system, and at some point they may show themselves. Caution regarding such a creature or creatures would need to be utilized. Granted I know this is speculation, but we are operating within a deficit of data. So our speculation could be wrong, but I agree with Lt. Ketal and Ensign Cynthia Darson that there is no doubt that our evidence points toward the planet in question as bearing more resemblance to a planet that is in process of or has been terraformed. Thus we have the need to logically rule out any natural causes as unexpected factors.” “Are there any questions?” asked Naraht. "This is extremely interesting," Holis said leaning toward the PADD Naraht had brought in. "Do you mind?" (Reply: Naraht) "Thank you." Holis took the PADD and began scrolling through its contents quickly as the officers around the table began to speak. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - CMO Lt Vren Marto - 1511) Other people began to enter and Marto nodded at their greetings as Ensign Ammon spoke to her again. "I'd like to hear the reasons why they feel that way, Doctor. I always just thought it was a hatred of the Cardassians. Perhaps at a more leisurely time you would be kind enough to enlighten me further?" Marto began to answer but the Captain brought the meeting to order and Marto simply nodded a yes and left it at that. The first surprise he dropped was that they were all being transferred to a new ship and Marto started scouring her memory for any facts that she could recall on the Prometheus design. The second one was that Lt Garrett had been promoted to FO and that Ensign Harper was now Lt Harper and had been promoted to Chief Engineering Officer. Marto joined in the congratulations that Travis began and sat back and listened to the Captain list his new department heads, smiling to herself when he mention that Travis had been made Third Officer and merely nodding her head when he mentioned that she had taken over the medical department. Ensign Naraht began the reports for the Science Department and Marto listened to it and was amused when the new CSO, seemingly fascinated with Naraht's report, all but grabbed the ensign's padd out of his phalange and started reading it. As a lull settled Marto decided to begin her report. "Sickbay has treated several crew members in the last twenty-four hours. Most of them were injured in the altercation in the lounge last night and all the injuries were minor. Cuts, bruises and slight concussions, the most serious being Ensign, I beg your pardon, Lt Harper's dislocated wrist. However the attack today on Ensigns Naraht and Physioc was far more serious and Ensign Physioc is still in Sickbay recovering from a serious head injury. He is expected to make a full recovery shortly but I still need to wait until he is awake before I test his hearing to see if there is a problem with the sonic defence Ensign Naraht used. Once he wakes and we are certain that there are no unexpected side effects he should be able to return to duty within twenty-four hours. That concludes my medical report, however I do have a question regarding our new ship." "Am I correct in assuming that apart from the main Sickbay, each section is equipped with it's own individual Emergency Sickbay? (Reply Saleke) "Well, I must admit that is a help. It will save on setting up several triage stations in various parts of the ship during an emergency. I'll start drawing up a roster of medical personnel that will staff the emergency sickbays during any emergencies. Also I would now think that this will negate our last staff meeting discussion on stationing medical personnel on strategic portions of the ship and unless you have any objections will drop that line of research." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - Asst CSO Ensign Naraht - 1512) "...Granted I know this is speculation, but we are operating within a deficit of data. Thus we have the need to logically rule out any natural causes as unexpected factors.” “Are there any questions?” asked Naraht. "This is extremely interesting," Holis said leaning toward the PADD Naraht had brought in. "Do you mind?" "Certainly Commander Holis. We do have additional hard data regarding the planet, and by themselves those hard facts don't look out of place, but put it all together and it only seems to lead to these conclusions. We were not on the planet long enough for me to get the flavor of the place much less to gather enough data! I found that highly frustrating. I am hoping we will get to go back eventually." "Thank you." Holis took the PADD and began scrolling through its contents quickly as the officers around the table began to speak. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - COPS Lt. Travis Keswick - 1515) "There is one more promotion which I shall make public knowledge of at this time though I haven't had an opportunity to speak with the person involved. Lieutenant Keswick is being promoted to ships third officer effective immediately." Travis was stunned when Salekes was giving out the promotions and his name came up. It took a moment for it to snick in then he looked around the table and just nodded. Travis lessened as the other officers where finished with there reports before he chimed in with his report and when after the science department finished then he stood up with the padd in his hand. "Sense we have been docked we have received the manifest of all the equipment and has all been accounted for and stored on the ship and I transferred the Manifest to each of you. If any one has any questions I will be around. Anther then that it has been pretty standard. Travis sead as he sat back down and placed the padd on the table as the meeting continued. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - ATAC Ensign(Jg) Ammon Ranae - 1518) Hearing that they were going to transfer to another ship so soon after Ranae had joined the Mystique's crew, had her in a bit of a turmoil. She felt excited yet a little saddened. The new warship sounded exciting and interesting, truly a tactical officer's dream come true, but she had only been aboard one day, hardly knew anyone in the present crew and now she'd be moving to a Prometheus class vessel with many more times the number of souls, and what could have become a deep knowledge of each and every crewmember over time, now looked almost impossible. She tried to focus on the positive side of things and sort out her feelings, while she listened to the interaction of the officers at the meeting. ~It will be an adventure, a challenge. You'll be able to really show what an efficient officer you can be! You'll have more people to befriend, it won't matter if some dislike you just because of your mixed birth or your personality. With a larger Security department there could be quicker promotion, and with three sections I may well get command of one of them if we go into battle! ~ The more she thought about it, the more positive she felt. When she heard the promotions, she smiled and clapped politely, pleased for the individuals concerned even though she didn't know all of them personally. ~Yet, Ranae...You will.~ She had no questions so she remained quietly listening and thinking while some departmental reports were given, but she became more interested when her boss, Lt. Dema stood up. "The tactical department has been upgrading our defensive and offensive capabilities on the Mystique however that seems to be a moot point now," Jason Dema said as he rose to his feet. "The Prometheus design is a lethal configuration that is quite different from what we've been doing here on the Akira, I'll begin looking at the technical specifications as well as offensive and defensive capabilities of that class of ship along with Ensign Ammon as soon as this meeting is concluded." he paused and gave a wan smile. "Unless I miss my guess we have a LOT of work ahead of us on this." he then winked at Ranae as he retook his seat. Ranae grinned at him, it would be good to get down to some real work at last, and now she was impatient to get going and wished the meeting would end so she could get started. She tried not to fidget while the counselor gave his report, and then the captain spoke. "Are there any further reports?" He asked looking toward Lt. Fredericks,"if not then this meeting is adjourned." The ATAC crossed her fingers underneath the table, it was a strange custom among the humans that she'd learned while at the academy. Supposedly it was helpful in making wishes come true. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - CO, Captain Saleke- 1520) After Dr. Gralen had begun scrolling through the PADD he collected from the ACSO Dr. Vren made her report. That concludes my medical report, however I do have a question regarding our new ship." "Am I correct in assuming that apart from the main Sickbay, each section is equipped with it's own individual Emergency Sickbay? "Indeed doctor," Saleke replied. "Each of the sections, Saucer as well as upper and lower engineering are designed to be self sufficient in case of seperation and there are emergency sickbays in the Saucer and lower engineering sections, main sickbay being in the upper engineering section." "Well, I must admit that is a help. It will save on setting up several triage stations in various parts of the ship during an emergency. I'll start drawing up a roster of medical personnel that will staff the emergency sickbays during any emergencies. Also I would now think that this will negate our last staff meeting discussion on stationing medical personnel on strategic portions of the ship and unless you have any objections will drop that line of research." "Logical doctor, you may assume your former line of research to be at an end, triage centers on the new ship do not appear to be necessary." Travis then stood up. "Since we have been docked we have received the manifest of all the equipment and all has been accounted for and stored on the ship and I transferred the Manifest to each of you. If any one has any questions I will be around. Other than that it has been pretty standard." He then resumed his seat. "Counseling is running smoothly," Riven said as he stood to his feet, the silver charms he habitually wore woven into his hair and clothing chiming merrily as he did so. "Regan has taken quite a bit of my workload and doing a wonderful job of it I might add." he couldn't help but notice of course that she hadn't made it to the meeting. "She is unavailable at the moment due to an unavoidable personal conflict and had to rush over to Geneva to take care of it. I assure you however Captain that her performance has been nothing less than stellar." Saleke nodded at Rivens obvious attempt to deflect any criticism from his assistant, that was within his department and the Vulcan would not pursue it. "Are there any further reports?" He asked looking toward Lt. Fredericks, "if not then this meeting is adjourned." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge – John Fredericks- 1522) "Are there any further reports?" The captain asked glancing around the room. John waited until he was sure nothing else was going to be said. “Captain, I’m sorry I don’t have much to add to the meeting. The Mystique looks like it is a good ship but like was said earlier it’s now a little redundant. I have information of the Hades design and it doesn’t look like it will be much of a problem to run security on her. Wouldn’t hurt to enlarge the security dept though as what was sufficient for the Mystique will be somewhat stretched on the Hades”. John waited to see if anyone had any comments to make then sat back in his chair. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - CO, Captain Saleke- 1530) Saleke watched as the officers filed from the lounge except for two of them of course... who had arranged to meet with him after the briefing was over. The work that would be coming up in the next two weeks would be daunting adding to the workload he had shouldered in helping with the arrangtements for the marriage, those arrangements would be sealed up completely in a short time however while his new XO would be helping immensely be making the necessary arrangements for the movement of men and material to the new ship. It was fortuitous that the CEO of the ship had been made FO, he had all the information necessary to make quick and efficient work of that task. The two new officers were a study in contrasts, Dr. Gralen was chatting with the Horta as they left while John Fredericks slipped out quietly, he appeared absorbed in his own thoughts, the Betazoid scientist meanwhile promised to be an "Entertaining" addition to the ship. "Now Travis, Dr. Vren." He said as the door shut behind the last of them. "What in particular did you wish to discuss?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stardate: 2407.02.18 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - COPS Lt. Travis Keswick - 1531) Travis stood up as the rest of the officers filed out of the Observation lounge. Now Travis had to swish gears from his duties to the wedding preparation. which was not to hard the wedding was only thing on his mind for the last few days from the moment he walk up in the morning to the time he put his head on his pillow at knight. Travis moved up and took a seat next to Marto. "Now Travis, Dr. Vren." He said as the door shut behind the last of them. "What in particular did you wish to discuss?" Travis looked at Marto and then over Regan then at Saleke. "Well Captain Regan." Travis started as he took Martos hand. "Marto and I have been talking and now that both of our families are her and they are settled in it is time for every one to meet. And where you two are important parts of the ceremony and closed friends we would like you two to be a part of it." Travis sead looking over at Marto. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I am attempting to construct a mnemonic memory circuit... using stone knives and bear skins."
