Ah, and finally I can enter Warren's post into the compiles. Welcome Warren. RPG: ---------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Log A starry-eyed Cadet asked me, yesterday, whether I remembered the first Starship I was ever stationed on? I looked at him, acted all nostalgic and let out a contented sigh. I said, in a fatherly way, all about her gleaming hull sparkling in the rays of many distant suns. I told him of its sleek, majestic bearing shooting through space and all other wondrous things your supposed to say. Once he was gone, I realised that I actual meant all those things. I remembered her and many emotions, not defined in any Vulcan's dictionary, flashed through me. Her name was the USS Nimitz, a new Sovereign - Class beauty, recently created and floating around a starbase numbered 968. I was the starry eyed, new Assistant Chief Medical Officer and I was, as my Grandfather would say, "as happy as Larry". That was where I saw her first and where I boarded her. That was exactly how it went. ---------------------------------------------------------------- (USS Nimitz - CSO's Quarters - Surin cha'Evekh, CSO - 06:30) The computer woke Surin at 06:30 as he had requested. He took a shower and a quick breakfast. While eating, he looked through his messages. There weren't many, just a request from ACSO Farris to see him in his office about some malfunctions, a news bulletin from Vulcan and a message from the Counselor: 'Duty permitting I would like to see you in my office at 12:00' "Computer, send confirmation of meetings with Counselor Troi at 12:00 and cadet Farris at 13:00. What is ETA at Starbase 986?" <> Surin left the room and went to the bridge for his shift. ---------------------------------------------------------------- (USS Nimitz - Counselor's Office - Counselor Kestra Troi - 1035) Kestra sat listening to the Admiral not having any emotion on her face. She knew that for the Admiral to come to her, he had to be hurting about something. Now is he rationalizing away the real problem on the things he is saying now or are these the problems he has. After the Admiral finished and was looking at her, she waited a few moments to consider what he said and how to respond. "Sir, what did you do for Starfleet to give the rank of Admiral to you?" she asked intuitively (reply from Woldan) (posted by Frank Rogers) ---------------------------------------------------------------- USS Nimitz, Counselor's Office, CO, Adm. Woldan, 10:36) Woldan never expected the return question. "Sir, what did you do for Starfleet to give the rank of Admiral to you?" she asked intuitively The Admiral went silent as he thought about it. ~Why did they make him an Admiral? It wasn't because they wanted his command abilities. If that was the case then they would not have shipped him off to a base in the middle of nowhere, where he had spend to most of his days waiting until he reactivated himself when he got the call about Ro Kaelyn. They also didn't promote him for participating in transfering his tactical insight into a bag of bio-neural gel. He had done that prior to his promotion.~ No, the only reason Woldan could think off, was to lure other Maquis Captains into Starfleet. Woldan started to regret having participated in getting the his Maquis friends into Starfleet service. Woldan noticed the intense look, the counselor gave him. He shrugged and said: "You will have to ask Starfleet that. I can only come up with one reason and I really hate to be right on that one." "What reason would that be, Admiral?" Woldan sighed. She just wouldn't give in, would she? She continued drilling into him, hurting him. "Well, if you must know, they needed a sign for all Maquis Captains! Look at Starfleet, All! See what you can achieve in Starfleet, All! Join Starfleet, All!" he snapped. He could sense that his outbreak somehow startled the counselor. He knew she would think up the same question he just thought up. ~Do you think, that's enough to be promoted to Admiral? NO! It bloody well isn't!~ Before she could open her mouth, the Admiral got up. "I appreciate what you are trying to do, Mr. Troi. But I do have a ship to run. So if you will excuse me, I think I am needed on the Bridge." Without waiting for her reply, he went out and as soon as the door closed behind him, he leaned back to the wall, closing his eyes, trying to compose himself again. ~IDIOT! YOU ARE FLEEING!~ he thought to himself. ~YEAH, WHAT OF IT?~ The Admiral composed himself and left for the Bridge. But before he reached it, he thought about it and left for the gym. ---------------------------------------------------------------- (USS Nimitz - Bridge - Surin cha'Evekh, CSO - 11:45) At 11:45, Cadet Farris relieved Surin at the Science station. He entered the turbolift and went to Deck 2 for his meeting with the Counselor. (USS Nimitz - Deck 2 - Surin cha'Evekh, CSO - 11:48) Standing in front of the Counselor's office, Surin took a moment to calm himself. The things that had happened yesterday had still some effect on him. He cleared his mind and pressed the door signal. The door opened and he went in. "Good day, counselor. You wished to see me?" (Reply from Troi, any) (Posted by Andreas Kjeldsen) ---------------------------------------------------------------- (USS Nimitz, Bridge, CO, Adm. Woldan, 14:05) The Admiral had returned to the bridge, to find Ensign Jonsson in control. The Ensign left as soon as the Admiral approached his chair. Woldan sat down. "CONN, when do we reach the Starbase?" "In ten minutes, Sir." "Hm, OPS, patch me through to Commodore Andrews on the Starbase." "Starbase is online, the Commodore is listening, Sir." "Admiral Woldan to Commodore Andrews. We are 10 minutes away from the Starbase, Commodore. I have the Bounty with us in tow. We had to leave the pirate ships behind, but have the survivors in our holding cells." =^=Andrews here. Approach the Starbase then release the Bounty. I will have a detail standing by for her. Dock at Spacedock and start transporting the prisoners over to the briggs of the Starbase. I want to see you in my office at 16:00. Be there! Andrews out.=^= Woldan frowned, but composed himself and said:" You heard the man, crew, follow out his orders to the letter." The Admiral wanted to say something else but he saw the counselor come on the Bridge, sitting down in her chair, looking straight at him. Woldan averted his eyes, he could not bring himself to look at her. He was about to say something again but then the call came from the CONN. "Dropping out of Warp, Sir. We have reached the Starbase!" Bernard reported:" The tractor beam is off, Sir. The Bounty is free." Woldan saw how a group of shuttles hovered near the Starbase, and approached the two ships, swarming over the Bounty. "Take us in, Mr. Bernard," Woldan ordered the CONN-officer. If the Admiral hadn't been so occupied, he might have enjoyed the fantastic view of the docking doors opening, revealing the spaceous inside of the Spacedock. Slowly the Nimitz moved forward, entering the Spacedock on manoevering thrusters only. Almost majestically the Nimitz flew towards her docking bay. When it finally arrived, it flew sideways with a mere kilometer per hour until it made contact with the docking bay. "Engage docking clamps!" ---------------------------------------------------------------- (USS NIMITZ DECK 12 SC'S OFFICE ENSIGN ALAIRN DAYNARIAN 14:25) Alairn finished reading the security logs, of everything that had happened while he had been on the Tomcat, included in the information was a report from one of Marines that Barana, had seriously beaten one of them, with no provocation, there were also other mentions of excessive force, all of which fit with Barana's profile, it was clear that he and Barana were going to have to have a chat ASAP, about his methods of dealing with conflict. Before Daynarian could do anything else however, his comm badge beeped, he tapped his badge "Daynarian here" << Sir theres been an altercation of some sort in the mess hall, involving De Sugera and Mr. Barana, one of them has been stabbed, they are both in sickbay!>> Alairn uttered a rare impassioned curse "What the hell is going on around here??" He addressed the Computer "Site to site transport, directly to sickbay, have security team 2 meet me there" (USS NIMITZ Sickbay Enisgn Alairn Daynarian 14:30) "What the hell is going on in here??" He thundered, "talk fast gentlemen, before I decide to have both your asses thrown in the brig" (reply from any) (Posted by Kevin Brodeur) ---------------------------------------------------------------- USS Nimitz, Bridge, CO, Adm. Woldan, 14:30) The Admiral tapped his badge to order Daynarian to start with the transfer of prisoners when he was contacted himself. =^= Sir? Ensign Daynarian here. Uhhhm, it seems that Lieutenant Segura and Ensign Baranna have been fighting in 10 Forward. Lieutenant Segura is in Sickbay and Ensign Baranna has reported himself in. He is bleeding profusely, Sir. I am sending him over to Sickbay as well.=^= "WHAT!?" The Admiral had jumped up from his chair, banging his right knee against the computer console. "DAMN! DAMN THEM BOTH! I WARNED THEM NO TO GO ON WITH THAT DUEL! I WANT YOUR REPORT ON MY DESK IN 15 MINUTES, ENSIGN! AS SOON AS THEY ARE FIT, I WANT THEIR SORRY ARSES THROWN IN JAIL AND YOU WILL THROW AWAY THE KEY!" "Admiral!" The cry from the counselor stopped him. Breathing heavily, he looked over to her and saw her painfull expression. "Please relax, Sir. I know that there must be an explanation for what happended in 10 Forward," she tried to calm down Woldan. "OF COURSE THERE IS AN EXPLANATION!" the Admiral bellowed," THEY WANTED TO KILL EACH OTHER!" Seeing the expression of the counselor change, eased Woldan. He cursed, then said:" Go down there, Kestra and find out what really happened. I will leave you in charge of the investigation. I think I'd better go to the Starbase and start releasing the prisoners from there. It seems we need the Brigg for our crew very soon. Mr. Bernard, you have the Bridge." The Admiral walked to the Turbolift. ---------------------------------------------------------------- (USS Nimitz, Bridge, Counselor, Ensign Kestra Troi, 14:33) " Go down there, Kestra and find out what really happened. I will leave you in charge of the investigation. I think I'd better go to the Starbase and start releasing the prisoners from there. It seems we need the brig for our crew very soon. Mr. Bernard, you have the Bridge." Admiral Woldan said with what seemed to be disappointment in his voice. Kestra waited for the Admiral to leave then she collected herself. ~Such strong emotion, he needs to find a meaning to his existence. I believe that is what is bothering him.~ Finally, she gets up and goes to the turbolift then gets in when the doors open. "10 forward" <> (USS Nimitz, Ten Forward, Counselor, Ensign Kestra Troi, 1440) She gets out of the turbolift and heads for ten forward. She enters and scans the room noticing that there were still a few people here. She goes to the first table and asked them if they witnessed what happened between Lt. De Segura and Ensign Baranna. A few said that they had and told her what they saw. After making inquires of each person and making notes on her PADD she leaves. She enters the turbolift and heads to sickbay. ---------------------------------------------------------------- (Starbase 968, Cadet Spectre) Tobias was used odd stares from people; he had been getting them most of his life. Only at Starfleet did he feel vaguely comfortable. With all the races known, a thinly framed white human is essentially unnoticeable. On occasions people thought he was from another race, "Are you Stygian?" and other similar accusations were with him everywhere he went. One thing he was not used to was people giving him a wide berth due to smell. He was proud of his hygiene; he washed regularly, forced by his Gran at an early age. Also, she made her own soap, always had done and that was the problem. Tobias wasn't sure what her latest concoction was but it stank. It stank so much that everyone who came near crumpled up their noses and moved rapidly away. ~ Thanks Gran ~ he thought and carried on his way. One good thing about his smelling, the crowd parted right in front of him like a multicoloured sea. That gave him plenty of time to peruse all the shops. He had hours before his meeting with Admiral Kyt so he had decided to spend it buying presents for his Grandparents. He had already bought a bluish green plant for his Gran. He was told that it came from some far off distant royal garden but he was sure it was from Bajor. Anyway his Gran would love it. Now all he had to do was find a present for his Grandfather. He looked in food, animal and some alien exotic stalls but still could not find a thing. He was so hard to buy for. Suddenly he felt an odd sensation on his leg. He looked down and saw a small bundle of purple fur rubbing itself against his thigh. A small furry elongated head stretched out revealing large eyes any child would kill for. This was the living embodiment of cuteness. Looking deep into the creature's eyes, Tobias knew he was in deep trouble. Trouble came in the form of a large, red-faced Bajoran screaming obscenities at anyone who got in his way. Before Tobias could blink, the man was upon him. " Thief!!," he shouted into Tobias's face, "Scoundrel! We welcome you into our homes and you steal from us." "Tobias slipped into his Doctor's bedside manner voice, " Please Sir! I have not stolen anything from you. I have no idea what you are talking about" " No? Then what, by the Prophets, is that?" he yelled, as he pointed to the purring ball of fluff slowly curling around Tobias's feet. " I have not seen this thing before. If it is yours you can have it back". Tobias bent down to pick it up but the creature beat him too it and leapt into his arms. It started purring even louder. The man's eyes bulged to such an extreme Tobias was prepared to catch them when they popped. His face reached a redness that even a bull could not ignore. " How can I now? You have contaminated it! Do you realise what you have done? You have ruined me. That would have made my fortune and now …. Now I HAVE NOTHING!!!" The man lunged for Tobias's throat but never got near. A twisting ball of fur and claws engulfed his head. He let out a muffled scream as he stumbled, backward arms flailing. The slowly gathering crowd around the two men quickly parted letting the purple-headed Bajoran free to pursue it's own course. Unfortunately as he flailed he knocked into several stalls spilling its contents. Food, alien baubles plus numerous other items scattered everywhere. People started to either help pick up the goods or steal them. The stallholders never knowing which was which tried to prevent anyone from touching their stuff. People slipped on the food as fights broke out. Tobias stood there agape watching helplessly as chaos reigned. He could hear distant squealing and was not sure whether it was the Bajoran or the creature. Tobias groaned. Soon the base's security arrived and began to calm things down. Tobias noticed one of the officers looking at him down an accusing bystander's arm. The officer was Klingon and did not look happy. Then again Klingons never looked happy. ~ It must be something in their genes ~ thought Tobias. The Klingon came over to him with two other Starfleet security. Tobias looked at the Klingon and sighed heavily. He left, escorted by the three officers, with the sound of squealing still in his ears. The first memories of some of the Nimitz's crew of their Assistant Chief Medical Officer is of a very despondent man being escorted by three large Starfleet security guards. He was led, head down, to the commanding officer at that time, Admiral Woldan Kyt. It had taken Tobias a long time to convince security to bring him here. Only a call to the Admiral had confirmed it. Tobias felt his heart sink as entered the Admiral's office. " Sir, I think this belongs here, " said the guard curtly. Tobias looked up and weakly said, " Tobias Spectre reporting for active duty, sir " NRPG Be gentle with me :) (Reply from Admiral Kyt) (Posted by Warren Simkins) ---------------------------------------------------------------- (Starbase 968, Woldan's Office, Adm. Woldan, 14:45) Woldan just spoke to the Security of the Starbase and had coordinated the transfer of prisoners. As he wanted to call the Nimitz, to find out if there was un update on the fight, his doorchime rang. A few Klingons entered with a sorry looking Ensign. " Sir, I think this belongs here, " said the guard curtly. Tobias looked up and weakly said, " Tobias Spectre reporting for active duty, sir " ~NOOOOOOOOOO!~ The Admiral sighed. "Why the escort, Lieutenant," Woldan asked the head of the Security detail. "It's not an escort, Sir. Apparently this...officer...was at the centre of a small incident on the Starbase. He has been charged with theft, willfull destruction of property and conduct not becoming a Starfleet officer." The Admiral cursed. "Oh well, I guess we have room for one more. I will take charge, Lieutenant. Investigate what has been going on and file it over to me. Dismissed" The Klingons did not move. "I said dismissed!" "Sir," the Lieutenant said, "What about the damages?" "I said I will take care of it. Be assured that the Ensign will be spending much of his time in the Nimitz Brigg. And he will pay the damages when your investigations shows him to be guilty. Now get out." "But Sir, I need...." "I SAID OUT!" The Klingons took one step back and looked over at their Lieutenant. When he shrugged, they all left, leaving a pale faced Ensign and a red faced Admiral. Woldan looked over at the Ensign and saw him crumble under his gaze. "Did you know that on a Maquis ship charges like that can lead to Marrooning the officer in question?" the Admiral said. "So, talk...!" Ensign Spectre started explaining what had happened on the Starbase. Woldan listened to it and when the Ensign stopped, he said: "If you are telling the truth, Ensign, then you have nothing to worry about. If you did not, however, you will wish you were never born. Go over to the Nimitz, Ensign and take charge of the Sickbay. We have a few wounded man in and no Medical Officer. But before you attend to your duty, get a shower, Ensign. You stink! Dismissed!" ---------------------------------------------------------------- (USS Nimitz, Sickbay, Counselor, Ensign Kestra Troi, 1445) Kestra enters sickbay and notices that both Lt. De Segura and Ensign Baranna were resting. She goes up to the EMH Doctor: "Well Counselor you are looking well" The EMH doctor said running a tricoder over her. "Doctor, nevermind me, how are Lt. De Segura and Ensign Baranna?" she asked. . "I need to talk to them about what happened, can I do that now?" she asked The EMH gives her his approval for a few minutes each so she goes to Lt. De Segura. She tells him that the Admiral has put her in charge of investigating as to the circumstances surrounding the incident. She asks him to tell her his side of the story. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Nimitz - Sick Bay - XO - Lieutenant Ayrton "Disgraceful" De Segura - 14:45) "I need to talk to them about what happened, can I do that now?" she asked. Ayrton fuzzily heard Kestra Troi's voice in the mists of his pain. ~Is this the voice of an angel?~ He asked himself. ~Maybe I am in heaven?~ The EMH gave her his approval in his grating voice. Ayrton immediately thought about tweaking that voice the next time.....what in hell's name was he doing here?~ Kestra came to him and told him that the Admiral has put her in charge of the investigation as to the circumstances surrounding the incident. She asked him to tell her his side of the story. Ayrton pulled his thoughts together and told her as much as he could remember. But, ~Oh! God! My head hurts!!!~ Eventually, she left him and went to talk to somebody else. All went quiet, and Ayrton slipped back to sleep. ---------------------------------------------------------------- (USS Nimitz, Sickbay, Counselor, Ensign Kestra Troi, 1455) She listens and enters key data into her PADD. After he finishes she tells him to take care of himself and not to give the EMH a hard time. Next, she goes to where Ensign Baranna is resting and asks the same questions to him. Again she enters the information into her PADD and tells him to get well and do as the EMH tells him to do. She then leaves and goes to her office. She sits down at her desk and enters the information into a report and sends it to the Admirals Office on the Starbase, marked for His eyes only with a note that she will be there shortly. (replies from EMH, De Segura, Baranna, Woldan) (posted by Frank Rogers) ---------------------------------------------------------------- (USS Nimitz, Sick Bay, Ensign(jg) Susan Rivers, 16:00) When Susan entered Sick Bay she was not surprised to see only the EMH on duty. She had already made sure that the other staff were otherwise engaged, now they were back at the Spacestation. "If you have come to see Lt. de Segura, you may have five minutes." The EMH caught sight of what she was carrying. "I cannot possibly permit you to -" "Computer, end EMH program." She could have sworn he said something as she deactivated him! She approached Ayrton's bed. "And as for you, what the -" she searched for the most suitable expletive and found the most appropriate - "*fvadt* do you think you were doing? Didn't you listen to *anything* I said? And of all the stupid places to pick a fight - right in the middle of Ten Forward! I can't think how you've managed to live long enough to make Lieutenant! What do you think the Admiral is going to say about all this? -" He interrupted her. "You're talking as much as Maria! Let me get a word in, will you?" "And that's another thing," she continued ruthlessly. "Maria's crying her eyes out right now. I can't speak for Lt Briggs but I don't suppose she's exactly rejoicing, either. And *I* haven't got so many friends here that I can afford to lose one - even if he *is* the sort of idiot who can't see when to leave a peta'Q like Baranna alone!" Suddenly she ran out of steam. "So what *do* you have to say for yourself? I warn you, it had better be good. Word is that Woldan's going nova over this!" Seeing that she had, for the time being, had her say, Ayrton told her what had happened in Ten Forward and how he'd woken up in Sick Bay. "So, what you're saying is that first you insulted Baranna, then his parents and his upbringing, and then, just to round things off, you, a senior officer, attacked him with a knife because *he* insulted *your* honour? Grow up, Ayrton!" He had the grace to look abashed, but she hadn't finished. "You do realise he thought he'd killed you?" Susan went on mercilessly. "You must tell Woldan the whole story as soon as possible. You can't let Baranna take all the blame for this. It's bad enough he blames himself without everyone else blaming him too!" "You're right, of course. That is the only honorable thing to do." Susan snorted in disgust at the word 'honorable', but he carried on anyway. "What do you think the Woolly Mitten will do?" "I think you'll be lucky if you're not calling me 'Sir' this time tomorrow!" "You don't bring much comfort to a dying man!" he grumbled. "In the first place you're not dying, and in the second, you don't deserve it. You don't deserve this, either," Susan added, producing a bottle of wine and two glasses from behind her back. "But I guess you could do with cheering up." "So that's why you got rid of the EMH." "That, and I didn't want him listening to what I had to say. Now, what shall we drink to?" (Reply from EMH, de Segura, Any) (posted by Liz Rhodes) ---------------------------------------------------------------- (Nimitz - Sick Bay - XO - Lieutenant Ayrton "Disgusted and ashamed" De Segura - 16:00) Ayrton came to and slipped away several more times, and then was aware of the lovely Miss Rivers by his side! She questioned him, cajoled him, admonished him, and generally made him feel very humble! Something he was definately not used to! Humility!! Yeuk!!! Suddenly Susan produced a bottle of wine and two glasses from behind her back. "But I guess you could do with cheering up." "So that's why you got rid of the EMH." Ayrton smiled at her. "That, and I didn't want him listening to what I had to say. Now, what shall we drink to?" "We shall drink to the eternal damnation of all Security personnel, everywhere!" He levered himself upright, and took one of the proffered glasses from Susan. They both sampled the wine. "Hey! That's not bad! Where did you come across a bottle of Spanish plonk?" Susan laughed. "It's who you know, not what you know! Who else shall we drink to?" "An event! Let's drink to the successful hand-over of this ship to it's rightful Captain and First Officer. Then I can slink away, tail between my legs, and rue the day my boss told me to come here in the first place!" "That might come sooner than you think. We arrived at the Starbase a short while back. We are already docked, and Admiral Woldan has gone across. But I don't think you will be slinking anywhere!" She added. "Quite correct in that assumption, Ensign. What is your name?" Susan whirled around at the sound of the new voice behind her. It was a full Commander, and he was a Vulcan! "Rivers, Sir! Susan Rivers. Ops Officer, USS Nimitz." She stood to attention, trying vainly to hide the wine glass and bottle. She was then startled as the Vulcan actually smiled! "At ease, Ensign. I am Commander Tuvel. His real commanding officer," Tuvel indicated Ayrton with the flick of an eyebrow. "I have heard, through my sources, that he is in trouble... AGAIN!" Ayrton sheepishly peered around Susan, who had hidden his view of the Commander's arrival by her luscious, curvacious body! "Hullo boss," he quietly said. "Get a glass and join us in a toast." Commander Tuvel shook his head. "Not this time Ayrton. I believe that there are going to be charges laid. I can not bail you out of this scrape. What possessed you?" Susan intervened, "We have a paranoid psychopath as a TAC/ASC, sir. He thought that the Lieutenant was a saboteur, in the pay of the Dominion or something, and was hounding the Lieutenant. He was defending his honour. That is all." Tuvel brushed it aside. "Ensign Baranna is not a psychopath, although he may be subject to some paranoia. Investigations will be made, I assure you both. However, that does not excuse your stabbing of a junior officer, Ayrton. You will, unless there are sound medical reasons, face any charges that are brought concerning this incident. I have sent my views to Rear Admiral Woldan, and Commodore Andrews." Ayrton slumped back and put his hand to his head. "Maybe I should get a good attorney!" "Not required. A defense counsellor will be appointed by the JAG department if it is found necessary to bring this to a Courts Marshall. I will, for your sake, publicly state that I believe that you acted whilst under stress. This stress was initiated after your personal encounter with a Borg drone whilst acting as the CEO of the USS Fearless. In this respect, I am at fault, for returning you to active duty before you received suitable counselling. The blame will therefore rest at my door, not yours." Ayrton looked up at the normally stoic face of his Commander and friend, hope writ large in his eyes! "No, Tuvel. I will take it like a man, and the noble Spanish Don that I was born to be. I can't allow you to intercede on my behalf." "Fool," said Susan. "Why not take all the help you can get?" Ayrton looked as though she had physically slapped him! "I... I am sorry, Susan. If I had listened to you in the first place, then I wouldn't be in this mess. If the Admiral hadn't... Oh! Never mind! The buck stops here. I will always get a job as an engineer on a ship somewhere. This is the end of my Starfleet career." Tuvel nodded, "Yes, I am afraid that this is 98.6237% certainly the end of your further involvement in Starfleet activities. I shall have to recruit another assistant research engineer." "I've got a name for you on that one, boss. She is called Anne Briggs. She is on this ship now, and shouldn't be. Why not recruit her?" Ayrton raised an eyebrow of his own. "Umm. I shall check her credentials in due course, if the need arises. Will you permit me to meld with you? I believe that my offer to speak in your defense is valid. I have noticed that your heightened alcohol consumption, and... shall we say... heightened libido? Yes, we shall say, are not the normal behaviour that I have come to expect from you. In the past five years, you have proven yourself an able, innovative engineer, and a useful all round assistant to me. Permit the meld, for your own good?" Tuvel raised his eyebrow in return. Ayrton looked at Susan, who had just bitten her bottom lip again, was it anguish? She smiled and nodded her head just once, very slightly. "OK, boss. Do your worst!" Ayrton straightened himself up and allowed Tuvel to begin the meld! "My mind to your mind," he said as he placed his hands, fingers reaching for the sensory points on Ayrton's face. "Your thoughts are my thoughts..." (Reply by Troi, Daynarian, de Segura, Baranna, Spectre, Andrews, any) (Posted by Adrie Geuken) ---------------------------------------------------------------- (Uss Nimitz deck 12 cs office Ensign Alairn Daynarian 17:00) Alairn sat reading the witness accounts of what happened in ten-forward, it was clear that he going to have deal with Barana and very soon, at least for the time being he was cooling his heals in the brig, not that the stabbing had been entirely his fault, but Woldan would deal with De Sugera. He stood up what he really needed was some time away from the office, to get perspective. To finish up He sent a memo to Woldan with reccomendations about the recent pirate incident, Alairn suspected that the pirates had to be backed by someone with alot of resources, just the fact that they managed to get a saboteur on board the Nimitz would suggest more going on than met the eye, he also included the witness statements about the stabbing, with his evaluation of the incident, that done he exited his office, headed back to his quarters. (USS NIMITZ Daynarians quarters 17:30) Alairn dashed off a quick letter this parents, then decided to take a walk down to the gym for a workout before dinner, as an after thought, he tapped his comm badge, "Daynarian to Troi, would you perhaps be free for dinner? say perhaps around 19:00?" (USS NIMITZ gym 1745 Ensign Alairn Daynarian) Alairn entered the gym and approached the magnetic weights, he addressed the computer "computer set weight at two tons please" <> came the response. It was 15 minutes before Alairn started to feel the strain, another 10 before he began to sweat, after 30 min, he left the gym and returned to his quarters to shower and dress for dinner.
