Charlie said to her and then gestured her into a chair. Ios sat and Charlie followed suit, sitting a few feet away in another chair of the same type. "Does that barrier conform to the surface terrain only?" he asked her then. She thought about it for a moment and then replied. "I don't know. I've never really thought about it before." It was the honest truth. She may be familiar with a lot of the details that he had asked, but that one was beyond her realm of knowledge. Nodding his head in acknowledgment of her answer, Chance simply and quietly explained "I have a slight problem Ios. Some of the information you have told me was not on the PADD; much of it is too detailed to be 'second hand' as you indicated; you describe procedures and the facility as if you have been there; and I am simply an untrusting soul. Now tell me; who do you and your friends work for?" This confused her a little, since she had already told them that she was a worker at the facility. "I don't understand." she said, "What do you mean my friends? Revala?" (reply Chance) "She's an archeologist, as I said." Ios explained, "I work for the Government, or I did anyway. I'm a senior data clerk at the facility. I used to be the Mater of the Archives there, but politics...." She sighed, "Politics have a way of working against half-Mols even when they are more than adequately qualified for the position. And I don't recall indicating that any of what I said was second hand information. I already told your friends about me and where I work. I don't have any classified access to information outside the facility, no one does, except maybe the facility commander and the highest levels of the Union Government. I am not one of those to be certain." She replied. (reply Chance) Daniel Greene --------------------------------------------------------------------- (Irlix - Irlix- Khoda City- Second District - The Villa - Lt Tom Jackson - COPS - Day 7 - 1543) Tom, Louis Remy and Robbie Smith were deciding what to do about the database and how to overcome its security software. They all agreed that the best ploy would be to use a public kiosk terminal and limit the time they spent on it. The three also agreed that copying the database to work on later find also be a wise precaution. Robbie and Louis favored a 'selective' wipe of the database. Tom had to agree they were not sure what a complete wipe might do. Ios, the Irixan civilian was very concerned about the effects as well. Tom thought her concern was worth considering. As their time would be limited, the amount of unknowns were great and selective deletions seemed safest. Most of the life support mechanisms probably had it operating systems hard coded and would be o.k. but there was no sense in harming the unknowing population. Tom had some ideas about the worm. If they had time, it would be nice to have a fake sampling signal sent out periodically to mask the real purpose of the worm. The sampling cycle could not be determined until the copy of the database was looked at. They could select anything falling under communications, security or military areas. The remaining areas to look at could be decided upon once the copy of the operating systems was obtained. They'd have to work fast! Tom was also curious as to how the Irilixans had obtained Federation technology. Did SF have a deep cover mole or some loose talking officers? The past few years seemed to indicate the former as a strong possibility. (reply: any present) (posted by: Bill West) --------------------------------------------------------------------- (Irlix- Khoda City- Second District - The Villa – ACOPS – Ensign Smith- Day 7, 1544)   Tom was the epitome of thought as he gave his head a scratch. "I guess we should see if there is somewhere public like an information kiosk and try there?" Tom said out loud.   "That sounds like a good idea." Louis acknowledged. "I think the sheer numbers of a public place is the way to go. I want us to scan the escape routes thoroughly as I plan on living to a ripe old age myself" Tom said as he chuckled.   "Agreed," Louis said as he gave a grin. "Abrupt termination of our life cycles are to be avoided if possible." He looked at Robbie to see if he had anything to add.   Robert smiled. “Yeh don’t want that eather.”   "At that point we can either fabricate the worm then or bring the data back here and work on the program. I recommend the latter since we don't want to stay on their uplink too long, the longer we are up the more likely they will be to lock onto us."   " I think we should also do the latter - the less time on the uplink the better" Tom added.   Robert nodded in agreement.   "Should we make a copy of the databases before we 'neutraliz them? We might find some tricks that would also benefit the UFP. I am sure SF Intel would like to get their hands on it as well" "I believe that would be wise if we have the time, we would be cutting things close though. That would be your call." “Don’t want to get caught in the system. Would not be a good situation.”   "We could simply try and overwhelm the system and let it literally blow its own mind or delete everything - a full wipe" Jackson added thinking out loud a gain.   Robert nodded. “A full wipe would be the most secure. If we could get the main frame to think that it has a uncontrollable infection spread it might wipe itself for use instead of us trying to make it wipe it.” The three men continued to discuss various possibilities.   (reply: any in Villa) (posted by: Robbie) --------------------------------------------------------------------- (Irlix- Khoda City- Second District - The Crash Site - SO Mike Rosenbauer - Day 7- 1655) As Mike stepped back to let Doctor Ichijo access to the injured officer, the Asian woman knelt beside her patient and commented to mike about the current situation. "The first man that I shot, seemed to be in constant communication with someone, So I think that may close our window a bit." She commented as she treated Machaire. "Most definitely." mike agreed, "we can't stay too long. Do what you need to get him mobile. If needed I'll carry him all the way to the safe house." "If you could ask Dr Lopez to check on our 'friends' to insure that none of them are in distress, when he gets a moment, I would be grateful; Oh, and by the by, it appeared that one of the men was going to throw something at us, you may want to check it out, might prove useful." She suggested. Mike raised an eyebrow, but decided that there probably wasn't going to be enough time to do any significant search of the area. Their time was quickly ticking away and there wasn't much time remaining. "I'll do that thanks, Doctor." He responded, then Mike turned to survey the entirety of the scene. Lopez was rifling through the supplies from the shuttle, discarding the majority of them as they appeared to be either damaged or compromised in some manner. Matrix was inside as well, doing whatever his engineering training dictated would be the best solution for the relatively contained destruction of the runabout. Sanok had finished moving the last of the Irlixian officers with the aid of the other new officer from the shuttle. Mike's watch chirped as he received a communication from one of the other members of the away team. =^=This is Sanok. There is a small convoy of vehicles approaching our position at a high rate of speed. =^= ~Damn!~ Mike thought internally, before responding. "Understood Sanok. Help Doctor Ichijo with our two new team members. I'll notify Lopez and Matrix. Start making your way back to the Safe house at best possible speed." (reply Sanok) Mike crossed the small, still smoldering clearing until he was standing in the open hatchway of the Runabout. "Sam, Steve. We have to go, Reinforcements are a few kilometers out and approaching fast. We need to be gone before they arrive." (reply Matrix, Lopez) Mike nodded and The three left the Runabout quickly. In just a few short minutes the craft would be so much scrap and virtually useless to any recovery efforts. --------------------------------------------------------------------- (Irlix, Khoda City, Second District, The Crash Site, Ensign sg Sanok, Day 7, 1657) Rosenbauer said, "Understood, Sanok. Help Doctor Ichijo with our two, new team members. I'll notify Lopez and Matrix. Start making your way back to the safe house at best possible speed." "Yes, sir," said Sanok. "The team is going to need someone to cover their retreat. I will volunteer to remain behind to do that." --------------------------------------------------------------------- (Irlix, Khoda City, Second District, The Crash Site, aCMO, Esn Kimiko Ichijo day 7, 1658) Kimiko closed up a long gash on Rabhartaigh's leg, while exchanging a few words with him. The doctor managed to make it back to the house; she traveled with the wounded and made sure that her charges got back alright. She had a strange taste in her mouth and it seemed that her environment had shrink to a small field right in front of her eyes. She could hear the throb of her heartbeat in her ears; the sensation was eerily similar to a time, in medical school when she followed her friend into a simulation Noriko was, in Kimiko's opinion, an adrenaline addict. As long as there was an element of danger, Noriko jumped in with both feet. Kimiko had allowed herself to be dragged into a couple of after curfew trips by her friend, but nothing prepared her for what is now known as 'The Simulation'. The simulation was a modal of late 20th century fighting in Congo region between several rebel factions and government troops. The goal of the simulation was to render accurate medical treatment, with the equipment and known treatments on hand, to all injured while avoiding being killed, injured or captured. The simulation was written as a no win scenario and not even used in core curriculum. However that did not stop Noriko from dragging her into it. Kimiko should have known something unpleasant was about to occur, when her friend told the Holodeck to run a six hour program at level 10 authenticity. The result was a blood soaked hell-on-earth tragedy of epic proportions. IT felt like it lasted for weeks and in the end Kimiko was ‘killed’ by a booby-trapped body. Kimiko had nightmares for a month and refused to talk to the girl for the rest of the semester. The group had made it back to the house and Kimiko prepped the injections for the rest of the injured. Then a explosion was heard along with a slight tremble in the ground which signaled the destruction of the shuttle.Sam knew that in a matter of minutes the area would be swarmed with military units. They just had two more kilometers to cover before reaching the safe house. Vilox shouted as the Mover slid to a screeching halt at the edge of the field which was now the home to a very large smoking crater covered in scattered debris. The senior detective, slammed the vehicle into park and slammed the door open and all but jumped from the vehicle. The other vehicles from the small special police convey fanned out behind him in a fan shape as they arrived, and though they unloaded from the vehicles with Military precision, He knew in his gut that they were too late. People were already starting to filter out of their homes and vehicles to gape at the pit of destruction wrought by the explosion. The radio orders broadcast to every adjacent home apparently no longer holding sway on the curiosity of the local population. "What was it?" Gaz asked him over the top of the vehicle, "Some sort of shuttle?" Nigo turned to regard his partner for a few moments, then allowed his eyes to turn back towards the wreckage. It was certainly ripped apart, but Vilox's eyes began to pick out the somewhat familiar shape of an antigravity shuttle, with some very alien differences. The senior detective spun on his heel, grabbing the attention of one of the perimeter police. "You!" He shouted. The officer looked up at him fearfully but replied, "Sir?" "See to it that we seal this field off from unwanted trespass. Keep those people back and call for a containment vehicle and some quarantine tents." "Yes sir!" The Junior officer sprung into action and Vilox left the vehicle and motioned for Gaz to join him. The two detectives started walking towards the wreckage. Vilox stopped and nudged a piece of wreckage with the toe of his right shoe. Gaz reached down and picked up a different piece of debris. "You know Gaz I think you might be on to something." He said then, surveying the wreck site. "This does look like the remains of some sort of shuttle, very much like that Bombing case we had last year in Zulia. But..." "Look at this." Gaz said with a sense of urgency in his voice. He was holding out a piece of wreckage that he had collected earlier. Vilox glanced down at it and took the piece that his partner offered him. It was unremarkable, sheared metal, highly engineered and it looked expensive. "What Am I looking for?" he asked Gaz. "Here." Gaz commented pointing to the flat, semi shiny surface of the metal near one of the jagged edges, He wiped away a bit of soil and soot to make it easier to see, the strange alien looking lettering that was partially revealed before being truncated by the sheared edge of the material. "opia Plantia part no 642-..." He read aloud then. "What do you think that is?" he asked his partner then a little confused. "That is some sort of manufacturer's stamp." Gaz supplied, "Although I don't recognize the type or the language. It's not an Irlixian language that I'm familiar with. It almost looks..." "Alien." Vilox finished. Gaz nodded. "Yeah, Alien." The events of the day began to slip into place. The strange energy signatures, the odd beacon signal and the firefight at the Hotel, all seemed to become more clear. And now this debris. The people he had been pursuing hadn't been spies, not in the truest sense, they were Aliens. Real live, breathing aliens. "Gaz, I need you to control this site. I have to go report this directly." Vilox stated as he started to hand his partner the sheared piece of metal, but then thought better of it. "On second thought I'll take this with me so I don't look like a complete idiot." Gaz nodded and Vilox rushed to report to his superior that there were aliens running around Khoda City. (reply none) Daniel Greene --------------------------------------------------------------------- (Irlix- Khoda City- Second District - The Crash Site - SO Mike Rosenbauer - Day 7- 1703*) Mike had returned to the rest of the away team, which had now spread out to prevent detection. The plan was to make the most of the chaos caused by the explosion of the runabout, and to then move freely to the safe house without difficulty. When the explosion sounded, it was felt first before the actual deep bass crescendo reached his ears. First some windows nearby shattered from the change of pressure, this set of vehicle and building alarms, at about the same time as the small police convoy was pulling into the area. Mike moved from his hiding place as dozens of locals flooded out of their houses to see what had exploded. It was exactly the sort of cover that they needed to make their way back to the Safe house. With so many people milling around, the majority of the away team could move with relative impunity. For the two newest and unexpected members, things were not so easily done. Neither looked like Irlixians and their uniforms stood out a bit more than Mike would have liked. So at the first opportunity, Mike slipped into one of the recently abandoned buildings and availed himself of some un used clothing. He left a sizeable pile of the recently replicated currency as payment and then returned to the alleyway that had become the temporary home to himself, Ichijo and the two new arrivals, as well as another member or two of the away team. He stalked down the alley way, with a pile of loose fitting clothing bunched up in his arms. When he reached the others he tossed a pile of native clothes to each of the new arrivals. "Get changed and be quick about it." He ordered. "We need to get moving and get you out of sight unless you want to be on a dissection table somewhere." (reply O'Neill, Rabhartaigh) The clothing may not have been the best fit, but it was the best that Mike could acquire without too much exposure. Pants, shirt and an article of clothing similar to a hooded sweat shirt helped to hide the uniforms and their non-native features. Once they were changed and they were ready to leave, Mike led the way through the streets and back to the safe house. --------------------------------------------------------------------- (Irlix - Khoda City - Second District - Ensign Eian O'Neill - Day 7 - 1704) The officer called Mike tossed some clothes in his and Rabhartaigh's direction on their way back to the safe house. "Get changed, and be quick about it," he said to them. "We need to get moving and get you out of sight unless you want to be on a dissection table somewhere." Eian readily complied. He was able to slip the clothing over his uniform relatively quickly. It was about four sizes too big, and he ended up rolling the pant legs and sleeves multiple times just to be able to walk without tripping. At 5'4", he was short for a human male and apparently he was short for an Irlixian, too. "We won't be winning any beauty pageants but I think they'll serve their purpose," he joked to Rabhartaigh. (reply Rabhartiagh) Eian chuckled. "Right." He was feeling dizzier and more light-headed, the concussion taking its toll after he had worked his body so hard since the crash. He wanted to collapse on a soft bed and go straight to sleep, but he knew that relaxation wasn't likely to come anytime soon. They were here on this alien planet in less than ideal circumstances, and Eian didn't even know what the Rosenante's situation was. There was a chance the entire ship had been destroyed and the crew was now stranded here. There was also a chance that the Rosenante was just cloaked in the atmosphere, waiting for the away team to complete a peaceful mission and leave. He and Rabhartaigh used each other for support as they made their way back to the safe house. "I think I agree with you," Eian said when they were almost there. "Next time, business class. At least." (reply Rabhartaigh) --------------------------------------------------------------------- (Irlix, Khoda City, Second District, The Crash Site, Ensign sg Sanok, 1705) Once the Starfleet officers from the crashed runabout had been rescued and given first aid, and the stunned Irlixians were moved to safety, the runabout had been set to explode. The away team hurried off to head back to the villa, and Sanok had volunteered to cover their retreat, as well as make sure the destruction of the runabout was complete. Finding a safe place to hide in some trees, he waited. BOOM! Ducking for cover, he felt the shock wave moving through the trees. A house alarm began to wail, and domesticated animals similar to canines, began yelping throughout the neighborhood. People came out of their homes, gathering in groups, staring at the wreckage and talking amongst themselves. Shortly after that, several special police vehicles arrived on the scene. Men quickly spilled out and they moved to secure the area. Sanok recognized the leader from the hotel attack. In the confusion, Sanok got up and casually began moving down the street, away from the carnage. It was true indeed that hiding in plain site was often the best way to not be seen. (reply any) (posted by Bob) --------------------------------------------------------------------- (Irlix, Khoda City, Second District, Police Officer Dela Lecan, Day 7, 1714) Dela and her partner Mir were on alert. In fact, every single officer in the city police force was on alert. They were looking for anything and everything that might identify a potential spy. The word among the force had spread like wildfire churned up by a hot summer's breeze. Spies from one of the other major powers had managed to infiltrate into the city, had managed to evade special police and to kill at least a half dozen people in the process. Now there was an alert out that the spies had managed to cause one of the antigravity shuttles to crash and had seriously injured or disabled several officers responding to the scene of the crash. So Dela and her partner Mir, were being extra vigilant, especially since the possibility of significant rewards would be forthcoming to anyone responsible for catching one of these spies. ~Maybe Roz and I can get our citizenship status upgrade.~ she thought as she gazed out of the window of her police crawler, while her partner drove. Her eyes flickered upward, just in time to catch the site of an individual crossing the street. He was dressed neatly enough, but he seemed more aware of his surroundings than a person looking to avoid suspicion should. He just didn't seem to belong. "Mir." she said simply to get her partner's attention. The larger Irlixian male measured up at a good six-foot nothing and a large box of rocks heavier than 200 pounds. He was a massive barrel chested member of his race, but faster than most men half his size. "I see him. Looks like he's looking for trouble." Dela nodded and Mir guided the crawler over to the curb. Once the vehicle had stopped, both officers quickly dismounted and started to cross the street towards the individual that had caught their attention. "Hey, you! Stop right there!" Mir, called out, his hand already hovering near his service weapon. Dela fanned out a little in an attempt to flank the individual and place herself in a position to intercept him should he try to run. The individual froze, almost like an animal did when they are shocked by a sudden noise. He turned slowly around to face them. "Let me see your papers." Mir insisted as Dela reached her position. Mike's body ached and he was beginning to feel the signs of fatigue brought on by the near constant rush of adrenalin that had finally started to wear off since their arrival here. He had entered the building along with the others, left the two new arrivals to the medical staff's care and headed to find Sullivan. The Vulcan woman wasn't hard to find and Mike approached her, intent on rendering an active report. "Sullivan" He said, keeping with her proscribed orders of address. "I have an after action report for you." (reply Sullivan) "When we reached the crash site," He began, " we found the Irlixian police had already arrived. There were perhaps nine or ten of them and it appeared that they had already attempted to gain access to the runabout." "Lieutenant matrix, and Ensigns Ichijo and Lopez moved into a flanking position while Sanok and I maintained a firing base position. When the action began, the Irlixian police were stunned and the Lopez gained access to the runabout." "We recovered, not one, but two Starfleet Officers. One was Moderately injured in the crash. We moved the Irlixians to a safe distance, recovered our personnel and destroyed the shuttle, as the police reinforcements arrived." "We managed then to evade pursuit and returned here. The two new arrivals aren't crew that I recognize from the Rosenante, they are currently being treated further for their injuries by the medical team at this time." (reply Lopez) "I heard someone say you were a doctor...I think I could use one. I've got a concussion, I'm pretty sure." (reply Lopez) Eian complied, and sat on a nearby chair. He had felt his vision gray when they had first entered the safe house, but that went away. He didn't think he would pass out, but on the off chance he did, he would be of no help to the away team. He needed to figure out what the situation on the ground was, and what their mission was. But first he had to make sure he could listen without the distraction of a massive headache. Just be watchful for your leg--don't strain it or your injury might come back. Other than that you are now fit for active duty," Lopez told him. Eian complied and took the pills quickly. "Thanks," he told the doctor. "So what's our status? Is there someone I should report in to? I heard Mike talk to a superior--Sullivan, I think he said." Eian wanted to start helping as soon as he could. Eagerness was one of his traits that people noticed first. His unusual energy supply was next, and some people would pick up on his attention to facial expressions relatively quickly. But he guessed that in this situation, with no one in their typical environment, everyone would be a little hyper vigilant and barring any injuries would be pretty eager to jump in as well. ~You picked the right situation to crash into,~ he thought to himself, slightly humorously. ~You're going to have to schedule more emergencies in your Starfleet career.~ (reply Lopez) (posted by Morgan G) --------------------------------------------------------------------- (Irlix- Khoda City- Second District - The Villa - ACMO Ensign Sam Lopez-Day 7- 1722) "Thanks," he told the doctor. He would tap his foot, move his fingers against his clothing silently, shake his knee--whatever was appropriate for the situation. The movement allowed him to focus on whatever was going on around him. He even needed the movement in some instances of high stimulation, such as a medical procedure or an academic test, but usually not in battle. This qualified as one of those times where he would have to move or he'd find himself completely distracted and unable to pay attention to what Sam said. So as the doctor worked on different parts of his body, he shifted what he was tapping or moving to minimize the movement where Sam had to work. Surprisingly enough, it went faster than Eian expected. Perhaps it was because he was distracted by the away team around him, or thinking about the mission they were on, or thinking about how his stomach was growling. When Sam was finished, he said, "I am done and good work, I say under these conditions. You may now go talk to Sullivan in the other room. And if you excuse me I must see to something in the other room." "Thanks, Doc," Eian said as Sam left, and stood to track down Sullivan. "I have an after action report for you." T'Larah turned around and saw a well worn version of the Irlixian Ensign Rosenbaur standing right behind her. She put the PADD down she was reviewing and gave Mike her full attention. "Go ahead." "When we reached the crash site," He began, " we found the Irlixian police had already arrived. The two new arrivals aren't crew that I recognize from the Rosenante, they are currently being treated further for their injuries by the medical team at this time." "Good job, Mike. As soon as our surgeons have cleared our survivors I want to speak to them. I would have preferred Charlie debrief them, but as he and Ios are still busy finding our routes I don't want them to loose any progress if he is disturbed. Any other casualties?" She asked. (Reply Ensign Rosenbaur) "That is what I expected. What was found at the crash site? Any thing salvaged that we can use?" she asked. (Reply Ensign Rosenbaur) "Even though it's not much, we can use it. I've been running some numbers, " she began and picked up the PADD that she had set down. " It doesn't look like those shields go too far underground. At a distance of 10 meters the rocky ground around the shield can hold the shields off without collapsing. Mostly due to the dense ore deposits in and around the area. With six or seven of the Irlixian phaser rifles we can drill through the rock from a near by cave and make it through to the structure." she said. (Reply Ensign Rosenbaur) "Well we would have to get the phasers from one of their patrols. We only have the one phaser I borrowed from the lead of the stack from the hotel. We'd need another squad's worth of phasers. Hopefully we don't need to use this plan, as it is very time and resource consuming, but as a last ditch effort it might work." she said. (Reply Rosenbaur) "I had been meaning to speak about that, have Lopez or Ichijo surgically alter our new arrivals, start the process before they come see me." she said. It didn't take the Vulcan woman long to do so as was evidenced by her swift response. "Good job, Mike. As soon as our surgeons have cleared our survivors I want to speak to them. I would have preferred Charlie debrief them, but as he and Ios are still busy finding our routes I don't want them to loose any progress if he is disturbed. Any other casualties?" She asked. "None. The rescue team took the police completely by surprise and we managed to stun them without a return shot fired." Mike said with a smile. "They never knew what hit them." "That is what I expected. What was found at the crash site? Any thing salvaged that we can use?" she asked. "Lopez found some minor useable supplies, but from the look of things there had been some sort of internal fire in the compartment. Most of the emergency supplies were ruined, either by the heat, the flames or the impact. There wasn't much left there that was useful." "Even though it's not much, we can use it. I've been running some numbers, " Sullivan replied and picked up the PADD that she had set down previously. " It doesn't look like those shields go too far underground. At a distance of 10 meters the rocky ground around the shield can hold the shields off without collapsing. Mostly due to the dense ore deposits in and around the area. With six or seven of the Irlixian phaser rifles we can drill through the rock from a nearby cave and make it through to the structure." she said. Mike gave her a look of questioning and she continued. "Well we would have to get the phasers from one of their patrols. We only have the one phaser I borrowed from the lead of the stack from the hotel. We'd need another squad's worth of phasers. Hopefully we don't need to use this plan, as it is very time and resource consuming, but as a last ditch effort it might work." she said anticipating his unanswered question. "I agree not a particularly ideal plan. Irlixian phasers are loud and not particularly subtle, and to further complicate things we don't know the layout well enough to know if there are any caves in this area to begin with. It's less than ideal and strategically very risky. And then there's the matter of our two new members. They stick out like a sore thumb." Mike replied. "I had been meaning to speak about that, have Lopez or Ichijo surgically alter our new arrivals, start the process before they come see me." she said. "And thanks, Mike for helping with the tactical portion of the mission." "Aye sir." Mike replied, "And you're quite welcome." He smiled and taking the remaining lack of orders as a silent dismissal, headed off to find the medical team and their new patients. --------------------------------------------------------------------- (Irlix, Khoda City, Second District, Ensign sg Sanok, Day 7, 1730) "Let me see your papers." Sanok was facing two police officers. They were not from the special police, but were typical patrol officers. This did not make the situation less bad, but at least they were not part of an elite unit. The officer facing him just out of arm's reach, was a male several inches shorter than Sanok, though the man's large and muscular build probably meant they were of similar weight. Irlixians did not have the strength of Vulcans, but he would need to be very careful with this man nonetheless. The second officer was a female at least nine inches shorter than Sanok. She was to his left side, at least two strides from him, and carefully covering her partner. Several options on how to handle this situation came to Sanok's mind. He decided to try the path of least resistance. "Is something wrong, Officer?" "Just show me your papers," said the male. "All right," said Sanok with a shrug. "They are under my jacket, in an inside pocket." "Just don't make any sudden moves," said the male. Sanok unzipped his jacket and reached inside with his left hand, grabbing his replica of Irlixian ID papers. Bringing his hand out, he handed the papers to the male officer, who took one step closer to him and took them. "You're from Velas City?" said the male after looking at the papers. "Yes, I am vacationing. I have never been to Khoda City, so I thought I would take my vacation here this year. I hope I did not cause any problems." The male seemed as though he was trying to decide what to do. The papers were a flawless replica of Irlixian papers, but he seemed to be sizing up Sanok, who was as calm as could be. Perhaps that calm is why the officer remained suspicious of him. "Call this in," said the male to his partner. "I'll keep an eye on this guy." He held out the papers and the female came and got them. She began moving towards their vehicle. Now, there was a problem. Once the police checked on his identity, they would learn the papers were not real. It was time to act. "Officer, there is a large, multi-legged creature, crawling on your shoulder." The cop glared at Sanok, but Sanok was staring at his shoulder, widening his eyes in awe for added affect. The man made the mistake of taking a quick glance. Like lightning, Sanok's hand shot out, pinching the pressure point at the base of the man's neck. He crashed to the ground like a building being imploded by a demolition team. Sanok grabbed his phaser as the female officer spun to face him after hearing the sound of a body hitting the ground. He fired, stunning her. She crumpled to the street, unconscious. Sanok quickly moved to her and retrieved his papers. Looking around to make sure no one else was there, he tucked his papers back into his jacket pocket and left the scene as quickly as he could. That one was close. Mike said, gaining the attention of the Chief Medical Officer of the Rosenante. "A word for just a moment?" "Certainly" Kimiko moved over to the ensign. "Commander Sullivan has ordered that both the new arrivals be cosmetically altered to better blend in with the locals. Seems Doctor Lopez already handled that for Ensign O'Neill. Can you handle doing the same for him?" Mike nodded at the new officer patiently waiting nearby. "I'm sure that won't present a problem" The ensign replied "Excellent." Mike replied. "May I have a couple of minutes to speak to our new crewmates?" The doctor motioned to the ensign and stepped away "When you have a moment, I'll be down the hallway, first doorway on the right." "It's not so much a problem for Rabhartaigh," Eian said, appraising his much taller fellow officer, "but I look more like I stole these clothes from Goliath and I don't think 'thief' is the image we're going for, working undercover on an alien planet." (reply any) (post by Morgan G) --------------------------------------------------------------------- (Irlix - Khoda City - Second District - The Villa - ACEO Ensign Eian O'Neill - Day 7 - 1735) Eian was met with the man called Mike before he could make it to Sullivan. "With everything happening," Mike began, "we really didn't have a lot of time for proper introductions. I'm Mike Rosenbauer, a security officer assigned to the USS Rosenante." "Nice to meet you," Eian said, and stuck out his hand. "I'm Ensign Eian O'Neill, assistant chief engineer." "Okay, Eian, which ship are you from and what in the Three-G's were you doing in the Irlixian system?" Eian was working hard to focus on Mike's facial features and body language. He conjectured that the question wasn't one of irritation, but moreso of curiosity. Though he thought he detected a little irritation as well. If he was correct, Eian could understand why Mike might be a bit irritated by two random Starfleet Officers coming crashing in during their undercover mission. It was a bit inconvenient, to say the least. But his curiosity got the better of him and he had to ask. "I'm sorry...Three-G's? As in, the multiplication of the gravitational force of the planet?" Eian smirked. "Or does it stand for something else?" "Sorry, God's Good Graces- Three G's," Mike explained. Eian chuckled. "Gotcha," he said. As it usually did, his mind made about three million connections at once and he had to ignore most of them because they were unimportant--but one he stored away for later. It wasn't often that Eian met another Christian, given the diversity of the universe and the many ways that sentient beings expressed faith in a divine power. It could be that Mike was indeed a fellow Christian...or it could just be that he was using an expression. Eian forced himself to focus on the question he had been asked. "I was supposed to report for duty as the Rosenante's new Assistant Chief Engineering Officer. Ensign Rabhartaigh was supposed to report in as the new Assistant Chief Science Officer. We entered the system but weren't told there were hostile forces here. I guess someone didn't do their homework or their fish died or something...anyway, we were shot down and we had to crash land." He wanted to ask where the Rosenante was, but before he could continue, Mike said, "Well, for what it's worth, welcome aboard. Once Doctor Ichijo has finished tending to your companion, you're both to report to Commander Sullivan for debrief and a situational briefing. Seems you're here with us until our mission is completed, so you might as well get involved." Eian nodded. "Definitely. I'm eager to jump right in." ~And you sound like you're about ten years old. Grow up, Eian, stop acting like a hyperactive puppy.~ "There's some food in the kitchen. Go ahead and help yourself while you have some time. Don't leave the Villa until you've been authorized to do so." ~Food, YES!~ Eian thought with joy. "Thanks--I'll definitely grab some. And I'd rather not leave anyway, with the locals so overly hospitable out there." "Now if you'll excuse me I need to speak with Ensign Ichijo and your companion," Mike said, and Eian nodded in acknowledgement. "Thanks for letting me know what's going on." He wasn't sure what rank Mike was, and because the security officer didn't tell him, he assumed they were of equal rank. But he also assumed that on an undercover mission, rank was dropped for security purposes. Mike stepped across the room to speak to Rabhartaigh and Doctor Ichijo, and Eian headed for the kitchen. ~Time to feed the 'bottomless pit,'~ he thought. He knew he had better fill up now, because there was no guarantee of when he'd have the opportunity again. Jackson watched as Sam Lopez altered the pair to resemble Irixan males. He reflected that Sam had grown a lot as an officer. Tom respected Lopez. Jackson was one that didn't grant that easily. Maybe that was why Jackson was mostly a loner. Besides Sam was a good man to have in a bar fight. Tm smiled as he remembered that last fight at SB Geneva. He walked over to the two ensigns and introduced himself. "Hello. I am Tom Jackson OPS Chief" he said in greeting. (reply: O'Neill or Rabhartaigh) "So tell me about yourselves. Are either of you computer whizzes?" Tom was wondering if they could help him, Louis and Robbie in any manner. It was hard enough for Eian to remember names without people's faces changing. "Ensign Eian O'Neill, Assistant Chief Engineer," Eian said, and stuck his hand out to the man. (reply Rabhartaigh) "So tell me about yourselves. Are either of you computer whizzes?" Tom asked. "I wouldn't call myself a whiz, but I know a bit about computers. I'm more of a mechanical person than an electronics person, but I can do basic hook-ups, hacking, and any hardware repair you might need." Eian, not surprisingly considering his personality, was a much more 'hands on', hardware engineer than a software engineer. Given that his training was primarily tactical and that engineering was more of a second major, he was best working with weapons and tools than electrons and programming. But he was always eager to help, and was willing to learn if necessary. He found that he would come up with insights in areas where he had no experience, simply from seeing things from a strategic standpoint. He also found that he tended to annoy "experts" by using words like, "phase modulating thingie" and "fire protection contraption-thing." It was up in the air as to which he'd do in this situation, but always the risk taker, Eian was game to try if Tom wanted to take the chance. The usage of computerized processes was part of my job in CCF but would not call myself a connoisseur in the art. I never got time to actually concentrate on all those intricate details of chip manufacturing and alike. My job was more direach, more personal perhaps." Machaire looked at his fingers and tried to ignore the phantom feeling on his fingers which the subject brought up. Like the feeling of wearing rings for years then just never wearing them again, the feeling remains as does the longing. He used that control rig for years and now he no longer had it. Tom Jackson, Ens Kimiko Ichijo) (Posted by Kateb Nadel) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Irlix - Khoda City - Second District - The Villa - aCMO - Ens Kimiko Ichijo - Day 7 - 1742 Ichijo was in what appeared to be a music room, the equipment for the alteration was spread out over a folding table. The doctor meandered around the room looking at the various instruments, it seamed that a majority of the items were wind instruments, variations of the flute and oboe; however there were two stringed instruments, a large floor standing device that looked remarkably like a harp but the strings were further apart and resting by it were miniature bows. In the center of the room looked to be a spindly-legged harpsichord. the doctor walked over to the instrument and played a few notes. Kimiko looked up and noticed the newcomer standing in the doorway "Sorry about the delay doctor, seems the resources like time is quite limited, but you wanted to see me or were I mistaken? If so, I shall rely upon my excuse that I just fell on my head." he stated "If we are seeking excuses, being forcefully removed from the sky would be adequate; however, I did want to see you" Kimiko motioned to a pallet (Reply Rabhartaigh) "How is the leg" Kimiko inquired "were the any other injuries that are bothering you?" The doctor asked (Reply Rabhartaigh) "I see" The doctor replied "I would like to tell you that with the technology avabile though the Rosenante, there maybe alternatives to previous treatments of older injuries." Kimiko was trepidatious about bringing that up since the last time she offered, it was a Andorian with battle scars and nearly gained a couple of battle scars herself. (Reply Rabhartaigh) "Okay" Kimiko replied as she started the injections. "now pigmentation will take about 10 minutes to take hold, about the same time to solidly affix you 'horns'" After adding the horns, the doctor stated "If you develop a rash, burn, substantial itching, color-tinged vision or any other symptoms, regardless of how inconsequential, let me know, did you have any questions for me?" (Reply Rabhartaigh) (Posted by Jack) --------------------------------------------------------------------- (Irlix - Khoda City - Second District - The Villa - Ensign Machaire Rabhartaigh - Day 7 - 1743) "If we are seeking excuses, being forcefully removed from the sky would be adequate; however, I did want to see you" Machaire lifted his left eyebrow and stepped towards the pallet. He adjusted the shirt a bit as he had the height but lacked the bulk of its previous owner. "Sasuil? Merely adequate? Your standards seem to be set on the stratospheres, which probably means same standards are applied to your work. Good, my previous doctor seemed to find wiping the scalpel to a sleeve to be the ultimate in sterilizing." "How is the leg" Kimiko inquired "were the any other injuries that are bothering you?" "My legs are feeling weak but seem to be fine enough but my left arm feels tensed, it might be due a bent pin in the radius. The feeling is similar to the time my arm was pinned by a container and the pin was forcibly twisted." Machaire rotated his arm to locate the exact spot and pointed it to the doctor. It had no discoloration nor other marks which seemed to verify his worries. Re-aligning the metal pin and bone along with it without fully functional medical facility was something he really did not wish to experience. " Thank you for the offer but we should return to that on a better time, there are many things in need of renovations in my body which are not time critical. The Cardassion surgery might be crude but it is surprisingly functional. Must be all that emphasis on military that advances such research. But the shoulder joint on my right side could be due for replacement, it is much older than the rest and somewhat weightier too. " He rotated the shoulder and felt the slight drag of the ball in the socket. It was an alloy mix of cheap materials. It was quite a common practise in those days to use metal as ceramics and other advanced materials were quite scarse due the Cardassian blockade. " Thirty years ago the CCF medical technology was sub-par but getting a distruptor blast to ones shoulder through a bulkhead made a number on it, it was like a marog. All jiggly and jellylike, so even sub-par was superior. And would not mind getting rid of the scar tissue at the sides of my mouth. It has been hardening and affecting my pronounciation a bit, I am starting to sound like a bomanta, you know, a Scot." He looked away as the doctor injected something before recalling that there is no actual needles in the federation medical kit. Another advantage for medical processes as misuse of needles was not possible. "Okay, now pigmentation will take about 10 minutes to take hold, about the same time to solidly affix you 'horns' If you develop a rash, burn, substantial itching, color-tinged vision or any other symptoms, regardless of how inconsequential, let me know, did you have any questions for me?" Machaire pondered a moment for how to answer the question. " Yes, would you have eyedrops in your kit? Those oily type, I do not know what those are called in the fleet but those nearly eliminate the blinking reflex while keeping the eyes moist. I really miss those drops but at the suggestion of academy councellor I stopped using them. He was telling that me not blinking made people nervous but the constant flicker of my eyes is driving me ar buile, totally crazy." He rubbed his eyes a bit as an emphasis. If there had been someone observing him, he wanted to make sure he would lose them. Satisfied that things were clear, he returned to the safe house, coming onto the property from the back way. Once inside the house, he asked one of the other officers where Commander Sullivan was. After being told, he found her, and when she was able to receive a report from him, he told her about being stopped by the police. "The officers asked to see my papers," said Sanok. "I knew that if they called in my identification, they would discover that the ID was not legitimate. I had to incapacitate the officers, one by a nerve pinch, the other with a phaser stun. I made sure I was not being followed before returning here. "Since I was stopped just up the road from this villa, the police may canvas this neighborhood. (reply Sullivan, any) (posted by Bob) ===================================================================== (Irlix, Khoda City, Supreme Commander's Suite, SC Khoda Rhone, Day 8, 0900) Khoda Rhone the savior of the Union and the bringer of peace sat at the head of the large conference table in his central offices, listening intently to the report offered by his head of Union Security. Sevrith Novas was a capable and dangerous being. More so than the other members of the party that sat ringing the large wood and laminate table that occupied the massive room. As head of the Elite forces, He held the power to command them without question. He was the effective head of the military as well as the special police force, and today he was irate. The thing that made him dangerous wasn't his temper or his lack of moral balance. It was his fanaticism. he was a fanatic devotee of the Supreme Commander, so much so that if Khoda Rhone had ordered the man to kill himself, the Supreme commander would have no doubt that his loyal follower would do so without hesitation. He was, in fact, the bulldog that kept the other members of his cabinet in check. "The destruction of the hotel was unavoidable." he stated calmly, "The attack to secure the foreign spies was a necessary action, councilor, and not one made lightly. I assure you that Senior Detective Nigo did everything in his power to handle the situation." "Did he now?" Councilor Hov asked. "And does anything in his power include the arbitrary execution of a dozen of this city's citizens as well of the destruction of a critical historic icon?" The councilor was huffing and leaned forward on the table with his palms pressed flat on it's polished surface. He was an older Irlixian in his fifties, and nearly a decade and a half Khoda's junior in years. "Those People!" Sevrith screamed almost to the point of foaming at the mouth, "Were harboring enemies of this government, councilor. A member of which, I will remind you, you happen to be! If the Senior detective felt it necessary to burn down the hotel so that it could no longer harbor the enemies of our Supreme Commander, then I say he was justified! And if those responsible for aiding these spies happened to be killed along the way, so Be it. need I remind you that this governing body will only tolerate liberal anti Union sentiments for so long!" Hov worked his jaw a deep anger welling up inside him. If the older man didn't reign himself in soon, he'd be making a terrible mistake. Those that questioned Sevrith's loyalties soon found themselves vanished. "Enough of this bickering." Khoda Rhone said, with a light slap on the table top to punctuate his words. "While it is true that we should protect all the lives and properties of our citizens, there must also be a limit to our tolerance." The leader of the Union rose to his feet then, slowly with a precision that offered those around the table a moment to consider his words before he continued. "What is done, is done and can not be undone." He continued, "But it will not be repeated." the older man's hard gaze landed on his trusted lieutenant. "Sevrith will see to it that those abetting criminals and spies are taken into custody for proper questioning and trial." "You mean torture and execution!" Hov nearly screeched. Khoda's eyes snapped upwards to lock onto those of the infuriated councilman. "Councilor, do not mistake my age for weakness." he said slowly, a razor sharp edge in his voice. "I have known for some time of your involvement in movements that seek to alter our way of life and threaten our society." "I..." Hov began. "Yet I tolerate you, because it is not a bad thing to hear your point of view even if I do not agree with it. Have I not lifted many of the restrictions you have suggested on travel to the other powers of this world in the hopes of fostering peace with us?" "Yes... you have." Hov nearly whispered. "And have I not turned a blind eye to the minorities as they marched in protest of our foreign policy rather than cracking down upon them to maintain peace?" Khoda asked. "Yes." Another whisper. "But this has gone too far. It is better to be feared than loved, if you cannot be both.” Khoda stated. "If the minority movement refuses to love me, then they will fear me. They will tremble in their homes and they will awake in the night with the fear that I will come for them." The Supreme Commander kept his gaze locked upon the now frightened councilor. "See how fear has a way of imposing obedience Hov?" The councilor nodded once. "Then I would say to you, that periodically we shall cause fear to maintain obedience where love has failed. Those that will willfully give support to our enemies shall be fearful of us because they refuse to love us. If that means that we shall burn down a hotel and execute some enemies of the state, then that will be the end of it." "If you show any dissention beyond these walls, you will learn first hand how fear can breed obedience, am I clear?" Hov nodded. "I asked if I was clear?" "Yes Khoda Rhone, Supreme Commander of the Rhone Union, peace bringer and savior of the people." Hov stated, using the supreme commander's full title for the first time in a very long time. "Good now sit down." Hov resumed his seat, his anger replaced by the cold grip of fear. "Continue with your briefing Sevrith." Rhone ordered as he resumed his seat. His Lieutenant nodded once and then resumed his original briefing as if he had not been interrupted. "currently we no longer believe that these individuals are spies from another foreign government here on Irlix." That caught Khoda's attention. "And what is your reasoning for this supposition?" He asked intent upon the forthcoming answer. "The vessel that crashed yesterday in District 23, is too advanced to have been one of our antigravity shuttles as was first believed. the fact that a group of unknown size thought it important enough to destroy that wreckage also tells us that there are concerns of us gaining the knowledge of that technology." "We also found a few items, that although damaged, clearly indicate the origins as belonging to the United Federation of Planets." Sevrith reached down and tapped on a display console and pulled up a series of images. They were pieces of damaged equipment, but the seal of the UFP was visible on each of them. "This," he concluded, "can mean only one thing. that the spies that were encountered were, in fact, aliens, perhaps attempting to make contact with minority groups at the Hotel Voluth." "We have no information on their plans, but we believe that they may have been significantly disrupted and therefore unable to carry them off without again attempting contact." "When we couple this with the knowledge that a Federation Starship called Rosenante is in the system...." "There is an alien starship in our solar system?" Councilor Liquara asked obviously shocked. Sevrith nodded, "It would seem so. For the last day, our military space forces have been chasing an intermittent sensor ghost picked up by the Seliya Facilities Defense Network. It is believed that this ship possesses a much more advanced cloaking system than the Bohrs did, and their commander is more cautious. It is why we have not yet been able to locate it sufficiently to get close enough to utilize the command sequence initiator." "And how do we know the name of this ship?" Councilwoman Fraz asked. Sevrith had been anticipating the answer. We intercepted a subspace signal that originated at the crash site, although it took us time to realize that's what it was. He once again reached down and tapped a few buttons on the desk and the signal began playing. =^=USS Rosenante,=^= a voice stated. =^=This is Ensign Eian O'Neill. Please respond if you are in the system. I believe I have a situation here.=^= Sevrith tapped another button. "We had it translated 'Eian O'Niell' is a name while 'Ensign' is a military rank and 'USS' almost always proceeds the names of Federation Starships. From that we know that the name of the ship is 'Rosenante'. We do not know it's class or type and as such we do not know well enough what we are dealing with." Fraz nodded as Sevrith continued. "We also know that it must have a cloaking system, better than the one on the Bohrs and that their captain is no fool. He did not risk revealing his position by replying to the request for help." "Did they communicate anything at all?" Hov asked. "No, but we can safely assume that our 'spies' on the planet heard the call and rushed to the scene where they rescued at least one other alien and disabled our police force members before the special police could arrive." Sevrith stated. "The trail goes mostly cold there, except for another seemingly unrelated incident in District Two." "What incident would that be?" Liquara inquired. "Two police officers encountered a man in that district that did not seem to belong. They requested his identification papers, which he presented. He then proceeded to disable both officers." Sevrith explained. "How is that related?" Liquara continued her questioning. "Nothing was stolen from the officers and they were completely unharmed. Irlixian thugs would have killed them to prevent potential identification later and would have robbed them to sell their identification and equipment on the black market. It is a long shot, but Senior Detective Nigo believes that they are related, and I agree with him." "The real problem is we do not know their clear goal or goals." Khoda smiled then. "Actually Sevrith, we do." he stated. "They're here to rescue their countrymen and most likely to reclaim the Bohrs as well." Sevrith gave him a blank stare. "But that would be suicide for them." Khoda nodded. "Yes, if they had to fight their way in, certainly. And as long as they are outside the shields they will be nearly impossible to find. So we are going to help them along a bit." Sevrith frowned, "Help them? How? And may I ask why?" "We're going to speed up their time table and make certain they can gain access to the facility where we can control them. They won't be able to plan properly and we'll have everything in place to handle them. And once we have them, we'll have all the leverage we need to capture their ship as well." Sevrith smiled, "A trap," He said. "A trap." Khoda agreed. "This is what we are going to do," the leader of the Rhone Union said and then began to explain the plan. (reply none) Daniel Greene --------------------------------------------------------------------- (USS Rosenante- Bridge - CO, Captain Ahmed Ibn Salid, Day 8 - 0912) "twenty six more times in total sir." Xim reported as Ahmed settled into the command seat. "They seem to be getting more responsive and well closer and closer as we go." Ahmed nodded as he reviewed the PADD the gamma shift command officer had handed him. "Any ideas yet how they are tracking us, even belatedly?" he asked the Betelgeusean. "No sir, not yet. We suspect that they have found some sort of means to pierce our cloaking device. It is obvious however that the analysis of that technique isn't taking place on the ships that are pursuing us though. They seem to be receiving data from the surface. So maybe some sort of ground based detection or at least processing system in being utilized. With some of the Antimatter generators on the surface, it is possible that they can run some very powerful scans that in theory may be able to detect us indirectly." Ahmed raised an eyebrow, "How so?" he asked. "Well, they could study the area in general and look for noticeable deficiencies in a number of areas. Something that our ship is affecting, environmentally. That interaction wouldn't be enough for a starship to detect, because of limited space and power output, but a planetary based system with a nearly unlimited power supply could theoretically extrapolate such data." "But since their computer processing technology is still relatively primitive, they aren't able to pinpoint us quickly enough for the ship's to get close to our position, we can see and anticipate their maneuvers before they become a threat." Xim explained. "So could the Bohrs." Ahmed commented. "Yes of course they could, but the fundamental difference is that we do not believe our cloaking system to be impervious and we are watching for a very real threat. The captain of the Bohrs may have been placing too much faith in her cloaking system to realize that there was a potential danger to her ship until it was too late." Ahmed nodded. Everything that Xim had said made perfectly good sense. The delays were getting smaller however, which meant that either the Irlixians were getting better at processing their data, or the Military commanders were starting to anticipate the movements of the Rosenante. Neither aspect was particularly fun to consider. His thoughts along that line were interrupted by the sudden chirp of his commbadge. =^=Captain Salid, I was wondering if I could speak with you in either my office or yours please.=^= Ahmed raised an eyebrow at the request. It was an unusual one to say the least. "Miss T'lela. I'd like to meet with you, but I'm afraid I'm a bit busy at the moment." he replied after tapping his commbadge. "May I ask what it is you need?" =^=I have an idea that might be of help with the situation in which we find ourselves.=^= Now that was an equally interesting and remarkably intriguing statement as well. Ahmed gave Xim a questioning look. The tall officer just gave a slight nod. "Alright, but it will need to be a quick meeting. Can you please come up to the Ready room?" (reply T'Lela) Once the channel had closed, Ahmed turned to Xim. "Mister Xim..." "I have the bridge sir. Aye." The Betelgeusean officer finished. Ahmed smiled and vacated the center chair. He then turned and headed for his ready room, curious about T'Lela's undefined idea. The volume on the viewer was turned down low and Ios had the subtitles turned on as she listened and read the news broadcast. =^= Residents of the Twenty-Third District, were surprised to find that an antigravity shuttle lost power and crashed into a nearby field, yesterday.=^= "Finally!" Ios shouted, "we're on the news!" in an attempt to get everyone's attention. She quickly turned up the volume. The female news anchor continued with her report. =^= details are sketchy at this time, but sources have indicated that the experimental shuttlecraft unexpectedly lost power while on a routine test flight. The craft crashed in this field...=^= The images on the screen shifted to a field, presently dominated by a green plastic tent, surrounded by Special Police. A deep furrow tore a ragged gash through the field, flanked by large swathes of charred ground, from fires that had started as a result of the crash. =^= Secret police have cordoned off the area after a suspected chemical leak caused several officers to collapse unexpectedly. Police have stated that the chemicals have dissipated harmlessly into the atmosphere and are not cause for concern. =^= =^=The prototype, which was completely automated, suffered a computer guidance failure just moments before the crash. No one was injured.=^= "They lied." Ios stated slightly surprised. "I don't believe that they actually lied." Ios asked, "now that makes perfectly good sense." she added with a hint of sarcasm. (reply Any) =^=In anticipation of the address, The first for the Supreme commander in ten years, a twenty block area around the memorial building is being secured and swept for potential hazards to our beloved leader.
