Compile 1 March 01-03 (USS Rosenante) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission: Fields of Elysium Day 15 Stardate 2408.03.10 Compile Summary (USS Rosenante - Sickbay - Kobali Reclaimant - Saviya (T'Larah) - 1645) ===================================================================== Mission: Fields of Elysium Day: 41 Stardate: 2408.04.12 (USS Rosenante - Bridge - COPS - Lt Tom Jackson - Day 41 - 0551) (USS Rosenante - Bridge - 2O/CTAC - Lieutenant T'Larah Sullivan - 0551.5) --------------------------------------------------------------------- (USS Rosenante - Sickbay - Kobali Reclaimant - Saviya (T'Larah) - 1645) Saviya was only half listening to the conversation between the Rosenante's Chief Medical Officer and the Kobali Medicine Priest Hasiyl. That is until they stopped talking about the process and started talking about the results. "...which means that Saviya should enjoy a normal length life span once the Restoration is complete." Hasiyl said. "About that." Alee began "Yes?" Hasiyl said as he turned to face the CMO. Saviya turned away from studying the biology of what was going on, and gave the CMO her full attention. "I've advised the captain and the First officer that we were ready to attempt the reversion as you'd indicated." "And?" Hasiyl asked. "And the Captain and First officer both agree that it's Sullivan's decision on whether we move forward with the reversion at this stage. I don't think there is a single person on this ship that understands your process Hasiyl except you. We can't say for certain what will happen, or what the experience will be like. And that means morally we can't make the decision for you Lieutenant." Aleesa said shifting her attention and words to Sullivan. "No one can decide what we do now except for you." "The Captain and First Officer are wise and fair, and also very logical." she replied very simply, a little of her Vulcan nature coming to the surface. Hasiyl turned to the Kobali woman standing beside him. "I want to speak frankly with you Saviya." He said. "Please do." she T'Larah replied. Hasiyl nodded. "No Kobali Priest has ever tried a reversion like this. All reclamations are conducted on post-animate materials, and so we have never seen the affects of the chamber's energies on a living subject nor a conscious one. There is a chance that this process could kill you, or worse it could turn you into an abomination. It may be excruciatingly painful or it may not. Once the process begins we will not be able to deviate from it, I want you to understand that." "So you are saying that what you want to attempt has never been attempted before, and that before we can go any further I will not only have to give consent to the procedure I will have to be the pioneer subject." she said re-stating his position in a different light. "Then what is your decision?" Hasiyl asked. "We go forward. I believe that I have broken memories of my past here because, my time as T'Larah was not over. Even if I do not make it through the procedure intact, the data obtained from my procedure can help foster others who would not wish to remain Kobali." she decided. She didn't know why, but one thought echoed through her head at that particular time. ~The needs of the many, out weigh the needs of the few... or the one.~ Hasiyl nodded. "You were aptly named Saviya. We will begin the transformation preparations at once then." "Your brain specialist will be needed. I will need someone to monitor Saviya's cerebral tissue transfer and hormonal fluids transformation. I'll need your Head Nurse and the Klingon as well. Her strength may be necessary should Sullivan attempt to escape the restraints. I have seen how strong she is and so the Klingon would be a good choice as well." Aleesa nodded. She turned back into the bay. "Lopez, E'mpak, Fisher. You're to assist the Priest with Sullivan's transformation." Saviya went to prepare for her last hours as a Kobali, for good or ill. (Reply Any) (Posted by Todd) ===================================================================== (USS Rosenante - Bridge - COPS - Lt Tom Jackson - Day 41 - 0551) Tom Jackson had arrived early. This was the day of the escape attempt. Either they'd be free in a few hours or they'd be doomed to an eternal living death. He sipped a strong dark coffee he had gotten before coming on duty.Tom allowed himself a few moments of thought of his step-dad Pez and his mom Chris. He loved the smiling sharp toothed Pez. He was jealous of his mom and step-dad. Tom had been hurt badly by a female fellow cadet at the Academy. He vowed then and their to not get close to any female other outside of his family. Tom was brought sharply back to the here and now by the CO's order to Lt Raschen to place the ship in yellow alert and his call to Tom to " have all stations report in and begin charging the drive coils for the Spiral Drive." T.J. replied "Aye Sir". Pressing a key Tom broadcast "Attention all Departments. Prepare for Spatial Drive power up. Report your statuses". Reports quickly filtered in and Tom made quick notes. Everyone was betting the bankroll on this particular roll of the dice. Jackson reported shortly after the announcement "All departments ready for power up Sir". (reply: CO and/or XO) Lieutenant Thomas J. Jackson Chief of Operations USS Rosenante --------------------------------------------------------------------- (USS Rosenante - Bridge - 2O/CTAC - Lieutenant T'Larah Sullivan - 0551.5) T'Larah stepped on to the Bridge of this vessel that was her home. She couldn't remember specifically being on board her, but somehow it seemed familiar. As she looked to the center seat the Captain smiled genuinely at her and Lt Morrow's presence in the ship's hub of activity. "Welcome back to the bridge Mister Sullivan." the Captain said. "Since I'm here, I'd like to be of use sir." she said. "You may man Science Station I." he replied still smiling. T'Larah had a feeling that if she weren't struck with amnesia she wouldn't have to look at the labels to know where Science Station I was. It still only took her a few seconds to locate it. The station was already lit when she approached, it seemed her computer access had been at least mostly restored.
