Jerry has several previously dormant genes that were activated at the same time, making him share physical traits with previous generations in the male line of his family. His great-great-grandfather for instance lost all his hair at the age of twenty-one, which was exactly what happened with Jerry. No exact reason for this phenomenon has been established. His skin colour was a 'gift' from one of his ancestors, the Amerindian Great-Bear-with-six-toes and Jerry always joked that he had been lucky there.
History, Education and Skills
Family and Background :

Coming from a family of 7 Jerry had a reasonably normal childhood, especially since he was the third child in that family. The family resided in Brno due to the workload of the parents who had combined positions at seven of the thirteen universities in that city. Because of the highly academic surroundings all children enrolled in one of those universities, making sure they were at a different one from the other siblings. When it was Jerry's time to choose he opted for the Masaryk university, mainly because of the good name the institute had gained and maintained over several centuries.

Education

The university course was of less importance to Jerry so he chose Psychology as the roster gave him suffcient time to engage in his other activities. Nevertheless Jerry finished his degree with high marks (third in class).

Starfleet History

 :

Upon graduation Jerry enrolled into Star Fleet because that was where his then girlfriend went. However, she dropped out of Star Fleet and out of Jerry's life soon after, leaving Jerry time to fully concentrate on the studies. After finishing his studies Jerry was assigned to the USS Andromeda as Assistant counsellor. Here he took over as counsellor after 4 years. After 3 years further service on the ship, jerry transferred to Starbase 534 as base counsellor.

Other than the above superficial effects, Jerry has always been in good health, surprisingly good health, even.

A surprinsingly good listener, considering that he has a tendency to use more words than strictly necessary.
