Born to a family of Agriculturalists, Drew's incessant need to explore and his youthful dissatisfaction with quiet farm life led him to follow the footsteps of his great great uncle Thaddeus Dewalt, the same man that was a heavy part of ground combat during the Dominion war. Although he still maintains strong ties with his parents and his sister Jessica, he remains much happier abroad space in a starship than he ever was at home tending crops. He once served under the father of Ryko Skylynx, whilst Ryko and Drew were both late teens, and it was there that his strong friendship with the future TAC/SC of the Boudicca began.

Education

Starfleet Academy, 4 years standard tenure plus 2 years vocational advanced piloting training with Ryko Skylynx. Drew however specialised in Marine manouvers - high-altitude assault drops and lightning bombing raids - and his piloting marks were not on a par with Ryko's.. Attended Antares III Tactical Collegiate, graduated with honors, Marksman and Unarmed Combat, First Class. Trained in several forms of armed and unarmed combat, advanced combat engineering, interrogation techniques, covert intelligence gathering, and the Saxophone.

Pre-Starfleet History

Very little pre-fleet history that has been recorded. Prior to leaving home, Drew was an unremarkable youth in an unremarkable farming colony. He decided to follow in the footsteps of relative Thaddeus Dewalt after reading of his feats of heroism and strategic gifts in the (undoubtedly exaggerated) family annals maintained for generations by the Dewalts themselves.

Starfleet History

Initially graduated Starfleet Academy 2403, assigned to USS Boudicca. Following the disappearance of close friend Ryko Skylynx, Drew was promoted to 2nd Lt and reassigned to Starbase Geneva as part of a praetorian batallion. After a few short, uneventful years, Drew successfully petitioned for transfer to an active starship in military engagement. He was assigned to the USS Sigurion (NCC-101524, Steamrunner Class) in the Typhon sector, effectively removing him from the sight and mind of the 52nd Fleet. Eventually however, he was promoted again to 1st Lieutenant and reassigned at last to the Boudicca.

Skills

Superlative skill with any type of energy weapon. Is also well qualified in many forms of martial arts, mostly unarmed. Drew's uncanny tenacity and resourcefulness have been his blessing during his tenure in starfleet and usually pull him out of the fire when his natural restlessness and rambunctiousness gets him into mischief.
