Nickolas Romanoff was born in the coastal city of Venice Beach on the main California island on Earth. There he grew up a happy child going to school during the morning and spending the rest of his days with his parents running their family inn on their beachfront property. Their inn seemed to attract many people from the milky way galaxy as a great place for shore leave. It was the constant influx of off duty Starfleet officers and officials that first sparked his interest in Starfleet. In his adolescent years in school he excelled in the arts and sciences. Throughout his secondary and his school years he received various awards and recommendations for excellence in sciences. During his free time he maintained his passion for acting and participated in any forum where he could express his creative side, but it was his strength in all sciences that produced recruitment opportunities into Starfleet.

Starfleet History

The first two years in the academy for Nickolas were very fast passed. It was a personal goal of his to make his name known in the academy. This did not seem like a hard task even though the academy had some of the brightest minds in the galaxy currently enrolled. It wasn't until his third year that he realized to take a step back and enjoy his last few years at the academy. He had the rest of his life to make himself known and he believed it would take him no time to climb the ranks. Romanoff was immediately assigned to the USS Boudicca due to operational need. The science department was in extreme need of scientist and he was overqualified for the position. He was stationed at Starbase Geneva for several weeks until the Boudicca was next due to dock. Transferring over was no issue and ever since he has just been working hard providing excellent work to his department and ship.
