Kirsten is tall and of a slim build. She has the usual Bajoran ridges on her nose and her face is always welcoming whilst not usually wearing a smile.
She has one small scar above her right eye and, when not on duty, wears the bajoran earing. |

Father, Jareth Netal (deceased), Mother, Taisan Summers who is an instructor at the Hamburg institute. No siblings.
Kirsten spent most of her formative years on Bajor almost denying her empathic side but spending time with her mother taught her to embrace it. She still hides it to a certain extent, not openly telling people her talents. |

Being born on Bajor to her Bajoran father and Betazoid mother, Kirsten had a tough upbringing. Her father wanted her to join the Bajoran military and sent her to the military academy but, due to her betazoid side, she couldn't settle there and went to stay with her mother in Hamburg where she developed a love for science and archaeology. |

Kirsten has had a distinguished career as a science officer on board the USS Gregory earning her promotion to Lieutenant (SG). It was here that her Command potential was realised by the Captain and she began training as a command officer.
She saw action on the frontline during the civil war and is currently awaiting re-assignment due to a leave of absence after the death of her father. |

Apart from the scar above her right eye, her health is good. She sometimes has problems controling her Betazoid powers and is always in search of someone to help her control them. |

Kirsten is a science buff and enjoys nothing more than working in a lab but also, through her years on Bajor, enjoys training on the holodeck. She is an acomplished hand to hand fighter and has good rifle skills and not afraid to take risks in order to accopmlish her goals or mission objectives.

An athletic person, Kirsten likes nothing more than working out on the holodeck. She has a number of different training and sparring programmes that she carries with her.
She is also a decent piano player, thanks to her mother and enjoys tinkling the ivorys whenever the chance arises.

She is an effective Commanding officer who likes to get to know the staff she works with, learn their strengths and makes it her mission to get to know people. She is a good listener and speaks fluent German, Bajoran and a small amount of Klingon. |
