Siobhan's parents, Rose and Peter, had a little small holding outside of castlebar, raising their own animals and family there. Siobhan is the youngest of six brothers and sisters Eldest being peter, michael, patricia, maria and paula. Siobhan spent most of her time with her father, peter, looking after the animals and learning a lot about looking after machinery and other things around the Farm. She is very close to her family.

Education

Starfleet Academy - Siobhan excelled at Starfleet medical and gained a reputation as an exceptional doctor who would not stop trying to save her patient. She trained as a doctor at dublin general hospital under a starfleet sponsorship and was quickly accepted to the acadamey.

Pre-Starfleet History

Before joing Starfleet, Sioban was going to train at the Nephin academy for music as she is an accomplished Uilleann pipes ( a traditional irish instrument) player. But, thanks to her early childhood experiences, she changed her mind and trained to became a Doctor much to her family's annoyance. She spent a number of years not speaking to them until a family tragedy brought them closer.

Starfleet History

Siobhan became noticed as an accopmplished doctor during her first few years at the Acadamy whith specialities in emergency medicine and disease control and identification. After graduating she was assigned to the USS Mithrandir as Assistant Chief Medical Officer. Siobhan, whilst involved in the treatment of the people of the Pestis Colony, was kidnapped and tortured at the hands of bandits wishing to obtain the large replicator brought to the colony for the production of medicine used to treat the colonists. After surviving the torture, she spent months recouperating and dealing with the flashbacks and emotions.

Siobhan is (as above) an accomplished Uilleann pipes player with a love of traditional irish music. She is also akind and empathetic person with a great love of riding horses and a good deal of knowledge of working the land. She is also a great shot with a phaser and a very accomplished doctor.
