Kgrik's mother was a doctor. His father was a scientist. While on a scientific mission on a planet in unexplored space both of his parents were killed when the science outpost was attacked by by unknown aliens. Kgrik, who was only a few month old at the time survived because him mother hid him in a small crate where he was latter found by Klingon's who responding to the outposts distress signal found him. Kgrik was adopted by the captain of that Klingon ship a decorated warrior by the name of Tog'mok of House Moruth. Tog'mok had lost his only son moths before and by Klingon custom adopted the orphaned kit, the only survivor, of an attack by the same beings responsible for his sons death and named him Kgrik after his dead son.

Education

Kgrik was raised in the Klingon Empire and was educated at some of the finest schools in the Empire. His father also trained him at what it means to be a Klingon warrior.

Pre-Starfleet History

When Kgrik came of age instead of join the Klingon Imperial Forces, he returned to Federation space and Catia to try and see if he had any family still alive there. He did not spend much time on the planet of his birth as he found their pacifist ways appalling and distasteful. Having been raised as a warrior for as long as he could remember, Kgrik could not accept that his race was largely pacifists. He left Catia vowing never to return.

Kgrik has a few scars on his chest and back but his fur largely cover these and someone needs to look closely to see them.
