Mike is tall and strong. He hails from Nordic Stock and is built like a viking, with broad shoulders and large strong limbs. Despite his bulk, he is surprisingly fast and agile. He's often seen with a serious look on his face due to his intense personal focus.
History, Education and Skills
Family and Background :

Mike was born to August and Belinda Rosenbauer in the Colony 32 hospital on Deneb IV. He had three other siblings, who did not make it to maturity due to the harsh nature of the colonization of the Deneb IV colony. Eventually the terraforming was finished and Deneb IV became a thriving colony, known for it's natural resources, including Denebian Glow Stones.

Education

 :

Mike's Education consisted of a great deal of home study throughout his early life. His father was a botanist and zoologist and would often take Mike along on long specimen collecting excursions. When he was home, his Mother taught him general educational skills. His love of the outdoors proved to be one of his best classrooms, however as he learned survival skills at a very early age. After reaching Maturity, Mike moved to Earth to seek his trade as a soldier. Instead he decided to attend university. He worked his way through an Environmental Sciences degree by working as a bouncer at a bar close to the University of Toronto.

Pre-Starfleet History

 :

He joined the Starfleet Rangers during the Cardassian-Federation War and served with distinction. When Doenitz took control of the Federation, Mike, shifted his alliances to the 52nd Fleet after the invasion of Andoria. Mike's expertise and skill were soon recognized when the Starfleet Rangers were reformed in the 52nd Fleet. Mike once again volunteered for the Rangers and quickly formed a cadre of other like-minded officers.

Starfleet History

Stardate 2407.01.03: Promoted to 3rd Lieutenant Stardate 2407.01.07: Promoted to 2nd Lieutenant After the Civil War Ended, Mike was offered the opportunity to attend Starfleet Academy. He did so, graduating 23rd in his class of 300 Stardate 2408.03.02 Mike was assigned to the USS Rosenante as a Security Officer.

Medical History

 :

Mike has suffered quite a few serious injuries during his career. He has been shot, stabbed, and fallen from very high heights. He has broken numerous bones, torn numerous muscles and sports a few scars from his days as a Starfleet Ranger.

Skills

 :

Trained in Environmental science. Matthew is an excellent officer and gentleman. He is good at self defense and and excellent at camping and survival. he is experienced with small group tactics and Partisan tactics. He is an expert in weapons and hand held tactical devices. He can speak Cardassian and Bajoran.

Other Information
Hobbies :

Mike is Athletic. He enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities, mostly hiking and rock climbing. He has also participated in a number of HALO or Orbital jumps. He is a very poor skier. His primary hobby is the practice and training for Savate and Muy Thai Kickboxing. He is also an accomplished cook. His Grandmother owns a restaurant on Earth and he often helped her around the kitchen when he would visit her for a summer or longer.

Awarded Captains Commendation: Awarded on behalf of the Cartenian Commonwealth for Services rendered in the Rescue of Prince Khamal from the Orion Syndicate on Stardate 2408.03.15


Awarded Medal of Distinction: For risking life and limb in the course of destroying Cardassian supply depots and other strategic assets during the Cardassian War.


Awarded Squadron Commanders Commendation: Awarded on Stardate 2414.02.14 for actions above and beyond the call of duty, critical to the success of the Mission to destroy the T'Kon Sphere held by the Borg.
