Admiral Durant is of excellent health but he bears the scars of years of service aboard various Federation vessels. The recent civil war has left him minus his left arm from the elbow down, a prosphesis however enables him to enjoy life to the same extent as he had before.

Family and Background :

Born into a Science/Medical orientated family, Xavier followed on in his mothers footsteps to become one of Starfleets finest medical Doctors. His father, noted himself for various scientific achievements, continues to work in the field of cybernetics. A proponent of the late Doctor Noonian Soong, Durant is noted for his work on biogenetics and has been at the forefront of work involving the de-assimilation of Borg drones after they become severed from the collective.

Admiral Durant served in the capacity of Chief Medical Officer aboard the USS Odin, USS camry, USS Phaeton and the USS Ghost. After retiring from active field service, he taught at the Fleet medical academy, San Francisco. He currently serves as the Fleet Commanding Officer covering all vessels serving with the 52nd fleet.

Medical History

Apart from the various scars upon his body, the most notable being upon the lower portion of his right leg, Admiral Durant is in perfect medical health. His left arm however from the elbow down is a prosthetic limb, derived ironically from Borg technology recovered from his time De-assimilating Borg Drones.

Durant likes to shoot pool in his spare time, he also enjoys climbing and piloting light aircraft. He holds a full pilots licence and is qualified for off-world excursions.
