History, Education and Skills |
Family and Background |
: |
Jason had a relatively trouble-free childhood. He was brought on Earth, in a town not far from San Francisco. His mother and father were very loving, and both held prestigious jobs with the local authority. Miller was a popular child while growing up, never having any shortage of friends thanks to his natural charm that his father always insisted he had inherited from him. He continues to have good relations with his family and write them regularly now the civil war is over. |
Education |
: |
Jason received no special priorities with education, despite his parent s prestigious vocations. He attended the local schools and colleges and passed most subjects within the top 5% of the class. Finding that he possessed unusually high organisational skills for a boy of his age, Jason found he actually enjoyed working with schedules and plans, and at the age of 19 he completed qualifications in administration and office management at the University of San Francisco. |
Pre-Starfleet History |
: |
Growing up, Jason was a fan of playing sports with his friends. Some might have called him a ‘jock’ be he just enjoyed his was often only interested in the social elements of the sport. Before joining the academy, Jason spent a lot at the local authority, where his parents worked, watching them and taking in what they did, and it influenced his decisions in later life a great deal. Although he never actually worked before joining Starfleet, he spent a lot of time preparing and studying to get there. |
Starfleet History |
: |
Never actually attending the academy as a cadet, Jason was granted a commission at Starfleet Academy at the beginning of his career, as an Administrator for the admissions office. By 2406, Jason was offered a position as a department administrator, and transferred to the USS Nimitz as aide to the Chief Engineer. Later in 2406, he transferred to medical, working with appointment and schedules of the ACMO. By 2407, Jason was a Yeoman, and aide to the First Officer of the ship, dealing with many issues ranging from crew transfer and reporting, to system status and appointment scheduling. |
Medical History |
: |
In 2389, Jason broke his collar bone, falling off the arm of a chair. In 2396, he was diagnosed with a rare strain of Influenza, which was treated. |
Skills |
: |
Jason has highly developed organisation skills, able to change and adapt in a changing environment like a Starship. The busier he is, the better he performs. He has a knack for understanding the obvious, and seems to a little of everything, which comes in handy in nearly every situation. |
|
Other Information |
Hobbies |
: |
Jason enjoys a drink now and then, but mostly he enjoys reading anything that is available. Literacy of any kind interests Jason, and also helps him to keep on top of any given situation that might arise in his job. |
General Notes |
: |
Jason is game for a laugh, but is always very duty-driven in his thoughts and dreams. Knowing where to draw the line between work and play is a definite advantage for Jason, and despite his friendly and sometimes over-familiar attitude, he only has the utmost respect for the whomever he s charged with organising and administering. |

Admiral Bell threw her arms around the Ensign, "You don't have to be scared anymore, you don't have to be guilty anymore, you are not responsible for what that madman did to you.", she said to her quietly and for a moment longer, releasing her from the embrace. "It's going to take time, its going to be a toll... I will be right here, and I am not going anywhere."
