Family and Background :

Dana was brought up by a typical Starfleet family, hailing from the planet of Iadora. She was often more fond of her father while growing up, given that her mother held a position at the local Starship design facility and often spent weeks away from home. As a result, she developed more of a tom-boy attitude to life, and was never afraid of getting her hands dirty. She is an only child, so her father doted on her constantly while she was a child, but he was taken away from her in tragic circumstances while she was a teenager, and she was forced to redevelop the bond with her mother, something she never really managed to do.

Education

:

She attended the local primary and secondary schools in her local town on Iadora. After her father died in a tragic accident, she decided to leave the planet to attend an Engineering institute on the New France colony, in the nearby Arachnid Nebula.

When she was 25 she travelled to earth to join the Academy, he chosen speciality, to become an expert in Electrophotonic & Plasma Fields.

Starfleet History

:

Graduating the academy in 2405, Dana was first stationed on Starbase Geneva, where she was part of a maintenance team for incoming ships. By the middle of 2406, she was still only an Ensign, but she had earned a great deal respect from many Starship captains she been in service too. Captain Sash allowed her to transfer to the USS Nimitz as part of the engineering team. Stardate 2407.07.31: Transferred to the USS Hades.

Other Information
Hobbies :

She enjoys letting her hair down with a drink and some friends. She has a wicked side that can lead to a strange sense of humour, although that has a lot to do with the company that she keeps. She often enjoys creating and manipulating Energy fields on the holodeck, a personal fascination of hers since she was young, and a direct result of her chosen specialty.

General Notes

:

Now she is out of the academy, she is a keen socialite. Friends with many of the female and male crew members onboard, she is known to be somewhat of a wild child when off duty, while she is known as quite the opposite while on duty.

Awards :

Admiral Bell threw her arms around the Ensign, "You don't have to be scared anymore, you don't have to be guilty anymore, you are not responsible for what that madman did to you.", she said to her quietly and for a moment longer, releasing her from the embrace. "It's going to take time, its going to be a toll... I will be right here, and I am not going anywhere."
