History, Education and Skills
Family and Background :

Both parents deceased. Has one Brother, Frank, a fleet marine, injured in the recent battle at the MDP, currently on medical leave. Sister, Patricia, a Lt. Commander in Starfleet, serving as science officer currently assigned to USS Damocles, an Intrepid class. Married twice. Divorced, twice. No children from either relationship, both divorces extremely bitter.

Education

:

Starfleet Basic. Not the academy mind you... rather the basic recruit training depot. Multiple enlisted training programs, including Non commissioned leadership courses, both as student and instructor. Has attended and been certified in every shipboard engineering dicispline that NCO's are allowed to attend. Excelled in most.

Pre-Starfleet History

:

Joined the Fleet at 17, after finishing High School. Lied about his age to join just as quickly as he could.

Starfleet History

:

Spent his entire 26 year career in engineering, except for a single 2 year tour in security/tactical. Starship assignments too numerous to list (for now)

Medical History

:

Exceptionally healthy. Has a focused (some would say brutal) workout regimen which he follows almost religiously. Various minor injuries. Only serious notation was multiple traumatic injuries suffered in a shuttlecraft crash landing during an away mission.

Skills

:

Natural leader. Inspires either respect, fear, or a combination of both in most every subordinate... and many officers. Highly skilled engineer, he can fix, and has fixed nearly every system on any given starship on which he has served. He has seen, done, and experienced a great deal during his long career. He is almost supernaturally calm under fire or during emergency situations.

Other Information
Hobbies :

Storytelling. In the manner of most senior enlisted men, he tells stories to both teach and inspire. His lessons are often anecdotal, which he has found tend not to be forgotten by his students.

General Notes

:

A strong believer in discipline and the chain of command. Woe betide the crewmember that takes a problem to an officer without following the proper chain of command. Though often critical of officers that show any weakness or incompetence, he unfailingly respects thier rank and position. It is common, however, for him to privately (that is to say, directly to them, with no one else around) express his displeasure with officers senior to him, if they deserve it. Earn his respect, however, and he would gladly take a phaser shot for you. A true friend to those who know him.

Awards :

Admiral Bell threw her arms around the Ensign, "You don't have to be scared anymore, you don't have to be guilty anymore, you are not responsible for what that madman did to you.", she said to her quietly and for a moment longer, releasing her from the embrace. "It's going to take time, its going to be a toll... I will be right here, and I am not going anywhere."
