History, Education and Skills
Family and Background :

Coming from a large family of eight, Percival is the Benjamin of the family. His father is spending as much time as possible on a research station far away from Earth, being driven away by his wife's insatiable desire for status. Percival's 5 brothers all left home for the same reason as soon as they could, leaving Percival at his mother's mercy, who tried to mould Percival, including teaching him the arts of noblesse oblige and the art of proper communication. Having been bombarded with the requirement of duty from his earlier childhood onwards Percival is feeling both honour-bound and trapped to perform his duty to his mother. He used his time at university as escape, since that enabled him both to satisfy his mother's need for status as his own mental stability.

Education

:

Apart from private tuiton to educate him in the art of 'proper communication', Percival followed the normal route, ending up at Exeter University where he majored in as many subjects as they would allow him. As a result he left University (rather reluctantly) with six majors, warp theory, multi-dimensional theorem, geology, technical chemistry, technical physics and xenobiology.

Pre-Starfleet History

:

Having left University with many majors Percival spent three months at home with his mother, but then left for Starfleet Academy, as this again would further his iwn needs as well as his mother's.

Starfleet History

:

Enrolled at Starfleet Academy and was after much deliberation accepted on the strenght of his scientific knowledge and ability to effectively combine it depending on the issue that was encountered which JUST off set his troublesome usage of antiquated speech. His ability to think outside of the box yet at the same time stringently adhere to the principles of science gave him craving reviews from his scientific tutors and he would have succeeded the course cum laude if not for the extreme reservation his psychological evaluators expressed, having identified four major mental disorders, making his mental stability questionable to say the least.

Medical History

:

Percival lost a thumb during a lab experiment (not his) that went seriously wrong. His analysis of the destroyed lab resulted in a safety modification on the transporter units at the Acdemy. His mental state is questionable, if seemingly stable.

Skills

:

Thinking out of the box

Other Information
Hobbies :

Epee fencing, great literature, poetry, the history of his family

General Notes

:

Percival is difficult in person to person interactions but excels at scientific research. Otherwise he is, simply said, a jerk, if one with correct addressing at all times.

Awards :

Admiral Bell threw her arms around the Ensign, "You don't have to be scared anymore, you don't have to be guilty anymore, you are not responsible for what that madman did to you.", she said to her quietly and for a moment longer, releasing her from the embrace. "It's going to take time, its going to be a toll... I will be right here, and I am not going anywhere."
