David comes from a family of Betazoid doctors. He is the first member of his family to join Starfleet, and the first member of his family to leave Betazed in a long time (aside from his human great-grandmother)

Education

David had a standard Betazoid schooling, and of course went to Starfleet Academy and graduated a counselling major.

Pre-Starfleet History

David was born on Betazed, and like almost all of his family, had never left Betazed. He was a free thinker, and loved to sit around for hours in his parent's large estate in the Betazed mountain regions and think about philsophy and other things. He decided to become a counselor and joined Starfleet.

Starfleet History

David's first assingment out of the Academy was the USS Wright, where he acted has assistant to the senior counselor. He was promoted to full Ensign, but yet, still acted has an assistant and didn't actually get to counsel any of the crew. Following a crew transfer, he was sent to the USS Spectre, and promoted to Lieutenant (JG), yet assisted Divon Lronen during his time. Following Counselor Lronen's departure, Taxia was promoted to Lieutenant and made full counselor for the first time in his career.

Medical History

David has been pretty healthy his whole life. During his time on the USS Wright, he broke both his legs and was immoblized for a week, but other than that has had no further medical injuries.

Skills

Has a Betazoid, David is a telepath, however, his grandmother being human, his powers are somewhat weaker than normal Betazoids.
