ILLUMINARRPG: (3 - 1200) USS IO CMO Commander Quinna Solice

(USS Io – Flight Deck –CMO Commander Quinna Solice  – 1200)

Quinna, as mission Commander, has taken her seat on the flight deck.  She
needed to be where she knew where they were going.

They were given the go-ahead and the shuttle exited the Illuminar.  Quinna
looked out the viewport and watched as they turned towards the planet.
Quinna was then able to get a view of what awaited them.  The Ringworld at
this point looked like one of those fancy doughnuts that she would get only
on a special occasion, or when her grandmother wanted an excuse to have
doughnuts.

“Commander, Lieutenant Pex,” she called out after about 10 minutes. “Can
you come here please?”



Quinna stood and took a step forward next to Ensign Piripi.  “What’s the
problem?”


(reply Pex, Piripi)


 “Ma’am, there is where we are supposed to explore,” she said, pointing to
a large structure on the left side of the screen.


Quinna noted the structure and nodded to the information. “Ok, but…”



“The only clear place to land is that spot there,” she said, indicating a
spot about 30 meters from the main target.  “However, I am seeing an odd
energy signature from the possible landing spot, I figured you and Mr. Pex
might want to get some more information before we try to land.  It might be
a short trip if that field is dangerous.”



“Ok. for right now, Keep us flying in an orbit, whatever that may be.”
Quinna then called to the back for Lt. Bohb.

When Bohb arrived, Quinna explained the situation and then said, “Let's get
some atmospheric readings and make some suggestions before landing.  That
energy signature could be almost anything.  Hopefully, it is not harmful.”
Quinna said.

“There will be no mission unless it is safe.”  Quinna insisted.
