NRPG: Countdown to launch
RPG:

Mission: The Ring of the Rephaim
Day: 3
Stardate: 2446.09.01

(USS Magellan - Passenger Compartment - SecO, CPO Steven Hammons and PO1
Jared Boyles - 0928)

"Step inside, ladies and gentlemen and have a seat." Hammons stuck his head
inside the hatchway which was followed closely by his body. Noting the 2/0
noticing him he noted her right back and snapped a spiffy and only slightly
mocking salute. Steven had seen a lot of security chiefs, lieutenants, mugs
and bosses in his time and had given them all fits including Sarsgaard but
he'd had a feeling about this one which had been borne out in time. First
of all, Vulcans didn't get rattled like humans and couldn't appreciate his
rapier wit; example, her first day aboard when he had taken her on a tour
of the ship.

Since then T'Mur had gone from being another one of the team to running the
joint, mate to the XO and now second officer. He had respected her for
rising from the ranks and after she and the first officer had gotten
together? Forget it! No way was he planning on getting on Sienna's bad
side. So he minded his P's and Q's around his security chief... most times.
It was still fun to tweak her nose now and again.

"Chief T'Mur, Hammons, Boyles, Fredericks and Kisha reporting for duty."

(Reply: T'Mur)

He gave a chuckle and stepped aside. "All right, you scallywags, get to
your assigned positions."

"Arrgh!" Boyles grated as he slipped by and into a seat. "Hoist the jolly
roger."

Fredericks came in rolling his eyes, he had been one of the few, no make it
two Hammons had trusted implicitly when investigating Roanoke skullduggery
on Mars and had spoken up for Steven when it looked like he was about to
get tossed in the pokey for "roughing up" a miscreant. The investigation
had proven him innocent, the guy had tried to knife him and it was his bad
luck to put his jaw in the way of one of the greatest uppercuts in martian
history.

Kisha was a different story, both her and Fredericks had arrived along with
Admiral Winters who had sailed off in the Raptor. While Hammons knew
Fredericks well he had never seen Kisha before and wasn't aware of her
species. Silky, corn colored fur, ears that were rounded off rather than
pointed, lilac colored eyes, gray lips with slightly darker, pug nose.
Whiskers that he had heard were vestigial adorned the area outside the area
of her nose and above her lips. And was he hearing her purr in satisfaction
as she slid past?

Everyone was wearing their EVA suits of course. He slid into the seat
behind T'Mur, she would be his charge for the trip.

"Anything I need to know beforehand chief?"

(Reply: T'mur, any)

She stepped onto the shuttle and found a seat, waiting for the others to
arrive.”
